Well, Bethany does always mention that Carver was jealous that Hawke got the dog. Obviously Carver wanted a dog in a whole different way than I ever imagined...

That's so cute, I can make it work. Okay, so Ginny tried wanted to be with Harry for a long time but it just didn't happen for years... just like Anders and Hawke.

I can't help but think of Anders as McGonagall... must be the cat thing.

Yeah its just that HxG is my least favorite ship in the series. Mostly because of how Ginny goes from wilting flower, to STRONG! INDEPENDANT! EXTREMELY B*TCHY!, then to a doormat. 

It's like her characterization was all over the place. She goes from so lonely that her only friend is a magic diary. To all of a sudden having this gang of friends with little explanation or character growth other than becoming a trickster. Gains mad Quidditch skills out of nowhere and it's explained by her "breaking into the broomcloset." which makes no sense because A. the locks most likely would've been magical and she can't use magic out of school and B. You can't learn to play a team sport on your own. And her becoming completely submissive to Harry in the 7th book made me gag. Add that to Harry's callouness towards her feelings (oh yeah her brother just died! Instead of comforting her walk off! Jerk***) and bleh. Just...bleh. That ship was a giant trainwreck to me. And not even the fun trainwreck like AndersxRivalHawke.

Awesome, we're comparing Dragon Age to Harry Potter again! I've always liked the Voldemort/Flemeth comparison, and I wouldn't have thought to compare the other characters, but some of those really make sense.

Believe me I'm not the type to care about ships being threatened. I just hate canon HxG with the passion of fiery suns. (Mostly because I loved both characters when they were seperate. But the second they got together...it's like everything I disliked about them got mulitplied by a damn thousand).

I don't mind Ginny in the books. She's quiet but she's not overbearing or anything (at least until book 6 where I couldn't stand her and book 7 where I wanted some consistency). Ooh the HxHr shippers can be scary. 

Luna and Neville? Cute. 

Arishok? ...Snape's already taken isn't he...uh...maybe Lucius? ...That doesn't work does it?
