Heh, I get how it ties to Varric, but, it screams "Anders (as your LI!)" a little to hard for me to ignore. Probably because I'm a fangirl. >.>

Hrmmm... I guess I can kinda see Varric if I tilt my head and squint, but I immediately thought of Anders the first time I heard that song. Listening to it after my first playthrough just crushed me. Like Christ, talk about credit music that fits the ending because I was already in pieces by the end of the game and then that music hits.

All this glorious talk and no pic yet? For shame!

Pretty much. I'm just sitting here imaging BioWare sitting in an evil-overlord-chair™ laughing manically as countless Anders fans are ultimately destroyed by what he does, crushed by the ending, and then break into tears during credit music.

Now that I think about it... I really haven't played a game that's left me this much of an emotional wreck by the end of the game. I mean with DAO I got a pretty good ending (Alistair+Anora married, my Warden's chancellor) and by the time I went through my next playthrough I already knew what to do to get even more happy endings. But DA2... I think the closest I've felt this bad was with Silent Hill 2 and maaaybe Majora's Mask.
