Alright guys, theoretical question time!
For those who allowed Anders to live, how involved do you see him being in the mage uprising that followed in your Hawke's canon?
I know various people have him going into hiding or running away with Hawke and Izzy in their head canon, but for the others, do you see him as being involved in organising the rebellion, assisting escapees and fighting against the templars?
Or do you think (in your own stories) that his big moment was in Kirkwall and what follows is him laying low and staying out of trouble, and perhaps doing some real research into his condition?
ETA: And for those who are pro-mage but still killed Anders, how involved do you imagine your Hawke was in the uprising?
Oh definitely aiding escapee's and fighting against the templars. It's my head cannon that Anders and Hawke run an
underground railroad of sorts to Ferelden, with Izzy of course suppling the transportation across the Waking Sea, then Docking somewhere between Highever and Amaranthine then leading the refugees into either the Brecilian Forest or to the FrostBacks to hide in the Southern Dales (the Arbor Wilds). HereMy logic is that Alistair is hiding mages from the Chantry, so aid and free passage would be more likely with his help. This is of course after Hawke, the Warden Commander(
the hell she disappeared) rip him a new one, and then make him swear to pay back his atrocitie by actively helping those he endangered. Alistair agrees simply because he knows Anders won't try anything under the watchful eyes of both Hawke and the WC, and maybe Sigrun too, since I have titled her "Pounce's Mommy" (headcannon she takes care of Pounce)
don't askHopefully my cramping grogginess didn't totally kill what I intended to write, Midol does NOT help...I know TMI..
