It's why I only ever play as a male argonian in Oblivion. Could not take the females seriously.

Here's a picture of a female turian if anyone was wondering.

Gotcha, okay. I never read the comic, so I never knew if they ever actually bothered making female turians. I thought it would be simple - they said the turians were kind of like birds, just make the males more decorated and perhaps more colorful, and the females plain. It appears Bioware did this, so yay.

I thought Garrus said he should complement fem!Shep's fringe.  Shouldn't female turians have fringe then?

(Clearly I did not have a bad experience of trying to discuss feminist issues in gaming, no).

FWIW, I wouldn't allow it. Misogyny (in general) but especially entertainment is A Thing with me, and I get tetchy when legitimate concerns get dismissed as the complainants just being oversensitive and (yes) too politically correct.

I can't bring myself to replay the ME games much. There's not that much difference in gameplay between classes, so it ends up getting stale. I only went through them twice.

at the TOP comic. I just got that banter yesterday and pictured my Warden (the only one so far that romanced Zev) snickering at that.

Anders hit on her with a "I like the way you think" line.

I'm sure there are people who didn't do any of the romances in Origins, but I'm kind of glad there weren't LIs in Awakening, because I imagine a majority of people's Wardens were already in relationships or still depressed over getting dumped/their LI dying/their LI disappearing with their kid.
It's kind of like the transition from NWN 2 to Mask of the Betrayer, where if you romanced someone in the first game, you found out they were dead or possibly dead in Mask (which begins days or weeks later). And then you had a pretty-boy hagspawn or a Red Wizard throwing themselves at you. It was odd.

One of these days I'll make one that's just friends with everybody in Origins. That'll be weird for me.
