Last week I wasted 4 hours of my life reading all TvTropes pages for DAII.

Well, to be fair, it's a lot more faithful to the game then say the trailers for DAO.

I agree, but it's still a lot more epic/heroic than the actual game.

Sadly true I wanted all my companions out there having this epic battle with the Qunari...I also thought the Qunari invasion was the climax of the game(is a noob)

it was certainly a tougher fight than meredith. never used any healing for her...

Thats true enough.  That disappointed me, it was like fighting the Fable bosses...

wait, what? fable has bosses now? when did that occur!?

OH yeah there isn't just an elite mob at the end >_> my bad.

Also as a fellow WoW survivor, it TOOK ME SO LONG not to press the spacebar every time I wanted to jump, because yes, I am one of THOSE WoW players.

*looks around shiftily*  Totally didn't press space to try and pause in WoW the other week:whistle:

*coughs*

I kept doing that in Rift and it always took me a few seconds to realize that I wasn't playing DA.

It was Wrath for me.

I played non-stop for 6 years. It was time to go. I couldn't take all the guild drama anymore. We'd always stay out of it, but inevitably the guild would disintigrate and we'd have to pick a side and rebuild. The community was complete **** too. I weep for the good old days.

Garrus is still "classified" on ME2's site and they're already pimping his new look for ME3!

I don't know why I could never get into MMOs. Even as much of a LotR geek as I am I only log in to run around in all the cool-looking areas for a bit and then switch it off again.

I wonder if The Old Republic will be able to keep me interested since it's supposed to be story-heavy.

That boggles my mind. I just want trivial info like his age. :(

Okay,
this is from a bit ago, but I just got back from lunch. But wanted to
say, weird. I just rebeat the game this morning and I don't remember
anything different about Anders on the box. Guess it's all the more
reason to beat the game again. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]

maybe i'm wrong  [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]

He was at 45 this morning when I finished my run.  His elbows clip into his knees badly, though, which I found more distracting than his previous inability to sit still.

Oh man, now I really do have to beat it again. I didn't even know that was something that needed to be fixed, so I didn't pay special attention. I kinda liked fidgetty Anders, though.

I always say MMO's would be great if not for all the other people. ^_^

Did they fix that bug when he finally stands and then Sebastian cuts in and then he's sitting again?

Oh the one I hate is when he comes to comfort you after All That Remains and sits down with his staff on. My poor mattress!

Y'know, I don't remember?  I know it irritates me and I don't remember being irritated but I was distracted by the fact that Sebastian was being ultra-supportive about saving the mages from the rabid Templars.  I don't remember every having that conversation before.

I wish there were mods that allowed you to turn off weapons in non-combat areas like your house or Fenris' mansion or Anders' clinic during cutscenes... It's kind of annoying when people show up fully armed.

Considering the fact that in Kirkwall ENEMIES ARE EVERYWHERE it seems prudent, though.

Yeah. It bugs me every time I visit Merrill and my weapons go through her chairs.

There's a mod which hides equipped weapons when you're not in combat. I used the version which does it just to staves so mage Hawke wouldn't be so obvious, but there's other versions too, that hide like, everything.

I just finished another playthrough, post-patch and noticed the sit/stand/sit for the first time, so.... nope :(  Maybe the waffles made him antsy.

This M!Amell/Anders story is so lovely and sad

http://www.fanfictio..._Cried_For_You#

It happens pre-Harrowing.

Could totally see it happening to my canon Amell. Poor guy, he has to stick with Zevran <_< while his cousin gets to choose between Anders <3 and Fenris <3 (the choice being Anders of course)

I know, but I don't like that they disappear after combat, for example. I want to keep my weapons on my back when I am outside, especially in battle situations.

Yeah the F!Hawke I am playing has her rear cliping through the armor I have her in.  Half tempted to put the old stuff on because of how much the clipping bothers me.
