Anders is about as good at subtlety as he is with stringed instruments.
Or cleaning up his dirty socks.
In (far too many) playthroughs, I have never yet managed to get the dirty socks comment! What do you have to click on? I really want to hear that one.
Does that "none of you" comment only come through if you've already done "Justice"? I've only done "Faith" once - I detest Sebastian.
The socks comment is only available if you don't have the Black Emporium DLC.
If you don't have Dog and click on the bed, Hawke's like, "A grown man and a mage, and Anders still can't pick up his dirty socks."

This is what happens when you do "Justice" first in Act 3, then take Anders with you for "Faith" and Leiliana says "no one is safe" from the mages.Extremist, scary Anders makes me hot.
Well, I know what I'll be doing when I hit Act III on this playthrough.
Hence my "Dayum" picture, because I was damn impressed he had the balls to say that right there. He got a very nice surprise from my MageSympathizer Warrior that night.
Hehehe.
No wonder my Mage!Hawke caught Anders'

Ah! Thanks, damn, that explains why I always get "paw prints!"

Anders and Bethany should create an anti-subtlety club.
Templar: Good day!
Bethany: OH GOD BROTHER IT'S A TEMPLAR QUICK HIDE MY STAFF!
(tosses staff to Hawke....Hawke stands there looking awkward)
Bethany: Hi...mister Templar.
Templar:..........
Pfff... I wouldn't worry. The templars might as well be blind. Their efficiency is on par with the mass and activity of their braincells - near enough nonexistent.
Three people with magical staves on their back? Must be a new fad, eh?
That glowing fellow over there who's glaring at us? Trick of the light.
Did that woman just slit her wrist and make that guy explode? Nah.
Seriously, Anders pretty much just waltzed into the Chantry on his own and planted a mother****ing bomb.
Have they ever heard of something called security!?!

You're forgetting who runs the place. I'm sure if it needed to be more secure, The Maker would manifest some guard-dogs or something

Suuure he would! Silly me...
I'm sure I once proved that the Maker was a pro-mage supporter of Anders' mage revolution or something.
That and the Maker really hates Kirkwall and Elthina.

ugh I went back to the general DA2 discussion board. That place is still as idiotic as ever. I can't believe after almost 2 months I still find the same ultranegative topics made by the same handful of people. I can recognize their usernames already.
Funnily enough, I don't think I've left this thread yet.
I guess I'm too worried about seeing the endless Anders-hate.
I know everybody's entitled to their opinions, but the least they could do is tone it down out of respect for the fans.
Applies to all characters really.

I'm inclined to go with "the Maker is a troll of epic proportions", myself.
*Chantry explodes*
Meredith: HAXX! D:
Sebastian: MAKER NOOOOO
Maker: lol u mad
Particularly since his response to the entire world seems to be "QQ moar", only more eloquently stated.

Next to his "I'm a mage!" sign.
DA2 really brings to light what he said about "making it easier for the templars".
They really are thick as hell. How do they function!?

That works too. XD
Or maybe the truth behind Thedas and the dissapearance of the various deities is this:
The Creators, Fen'Harel, The Maker, Andraste and the Old Gods are all playing MMORPGs - and Thedas is the setting of the game.
Sadly, the Old Gods are frequently pulled away by the nasty little PC virus known as the Darkspawn.

Or maybe he's just a lazy old sod.
Hell, maybe he doesn't exist at all! Maybe Andraste was high on lyrium and was just hallucinating!
Maybe the Maker is Flemeth!!!

Perhaps he's an icon of pure evil who just loves screwing with people's emotions, hopes and dreams while enslaving them, draining them of their money and taking hours from their lives while forcing them to endure ridiculous quests and trials.
I've worked it out.
The Maker is David Gaider. (And the rest of the writers)

This thread's the best place. Honestly I think the only 2 most enjoyable places in these boards are the companions section and the off topic section. The campaign/quests one isn't too bad either. I avoid going anywhere else.

No, I was just refering to a pic someone posted. DA3 itself hasn't even been confirmed yet heh
And no, but then again given that now with the holiday/weekend it's not that surprising.
Well if she doesn't say anything within a few days time, I'll probably just post it anyway, it's not like it can cause any harm.

The problem is that even with a gigantic warning label and flashing signs saying "Romance any other person in existence," we all would've gone ahead and fallen in love with the crazy bastard anyway.

So long as we don't get too carried away, anyway...
(We should put a disclaimer at the start of the thread warning about how we will not be held responsible for any psychological damage caused to those who can't handle the epicness of this thread.)

How very true. And we wouldn't change that for the world.
He needs a warning similar to the chorus of "Commander Shepard" by Miracle Of Sound.
It still won't be enough, but still.
