It seems to be slightly more realistic approach plus he doesn't have the stubble (yet, i'd guess)  That he doesn't look too obviously like a game character or a cartoon drawing is precisely what i liked about it, it's a change from the usual.

I like what the artist says below, that Anders isn't as easy to draw as Fenris.
It is true (yes I tried both, for science and study
Thing is Fenris has really characteristic exaggerated obvious features. The shape of the nose, eyes, and hair...you can even screw them up a little, but you are pretty sure to get "a Fenris" in the end.
Anders on the other hand, might be for his human features...you have to be a lot more careful. Even if it is a work in progress, I think he is doing a great job, the nose is very "andersy" already.

I never really payed too much attention to male noses until DAII for some reason. I never used to like Anders' nose until after playing DAII.

Mind you, I always had a very distinct (some would call odd) taste when it came to a woman's nose.

Love a slight bump in the bridge, as well as it being larger than what most of my friend consider attractive. Mind you, my friends and I have never agreed on these things. =P

You guys....Anders turned into a door in my playthrough.
We were fighting, and after the fight, I went to leave the room and realized that Anders had vanished. I went on a manhunt to find him....ran up to one of those doors that don't open...and the little speech bubble + the name Anders appeared. I clicked...and the door ****ing spoke to me.

I'm just sitting here like .
My boyfriend is seriously going to kill himself laughing, though.
