lol.
Did Hawke break his little brother's nose as a parting gift?

Leandra probably wouldn't go to any great lengths to discipline him. <_<
She's a lovely woman, but she has no control over her children. Or her brother...

Actually, the whole Hawke/Amell family is messed up. All of them.
And then we add Anders, Fenris, Izzy or Varric Merril to the gene pool...

Nah. He was taking the higher road/sparing the mother the shame. Plus, Carver had gotten a mean left hook over the years working with smugglers and Hawke didn't want to risk a broken jaw as well.

She totally doesn't, does she? At least Anders didn't have a chance to show the crazy in the week or so she knew him before she got scrapped for human spare parts.

Glad to see I'm not the only proud owner of a 'Doormat-Hawke'.

I'm also guility of a doormat-Hawke.

Those kitten eyes... just can't... resist...

They should be illegal. It's also cheating.

I'm pretty certain if Anders had just gone up to my Hawke and asked him if he wanted to help him blow up the chantry, Hawke would have caved in once the pouty look came out.

You people should've spend more time with Sten.

"No." is easy. Especially if it can result in something like that scene when you tell Anders after one night stand it was just that.

Too true.

Anders: "Love, would you like to aid me in destroying the Chantry and murdering the Grand Cleric in the name of mage freedom?"

Hawke: "What?! Are you insane?! I-"

Anders: *Pout face*

Hawke: "I hate you so much sometimes." *Sighs*

He wouldn't have even had to go to poutface for me.  He would have been all 'Hey do you want to...'  YES!

I'm on the 'Hawke says no and chokeslams Anders for manipulating him' crowd.

Call me a sadist, but there's something oddly satisfying about torturing him. It's probably because he lays a guilt trip on you whenever you disagree with him and assumes you need his protection. I'm sure a 200 pound, hulking mass of meat with a sword that can dissect someone in half can't handle himself.

......or I've been reading one too many possessive Hawke fics.

I just can't pick that "get out of my house" option - the look on his face is heartbreaking! I've only ever seen it on youtube. It's like the Garrus rejection - you just can't do it! The puppy eyes!

The Anders pouty look is EVIL. My boyfriend does the same thing, it's like getting a tactical nuke dropped on your resolve.

Steel yourself watching the real master at work. When it comes to puppy eyes Anders is after all just a copycat.

Alistair never convinced me to run off with him after committing an act of terrorism that launched a world war.

Sorry bb.

Interestingly enough I wasn't a huge Alistair guy. My Wardens who got with him all ended up terribly. Let's see. One dead killing the Archdemon, one gave up her love so he could marry Anora, one recruited Loghain and he left her... Yep, no luck with Alistair for me.

To be fair he never tried, though. (re: the running off after the terrorist act)

It's not in the pout so much as the eyes. And Anders wins with his big, pretty abomination eyes.

*sets fire to Alistair popping up* Erm I mean..

You know. I never thought of having a nose fetish before DA2. But after Anders and now that Malcolm Reynolds gif, I was totally checking out his nose..

So now I'm checking out my husband's nose while he's sitting next to me. Yep..

Damn you thread!

Exactly.

How can you say no to him when he's staring at you with those pretty, lyrium blue eyes going, "Justice must be served, no matter the cost"?

I dunno, Justice seems to be quite a mood breaker.

Forgive me if this has already been posted. I can't help but recall the dismay over the lack of Andersbutt, some time ago. Payroo to the rescue. Thread moves soooo fast...

edit:
Anders puppy eyes, Alistair puppy eyes, don't make me choose.  I think this can be peacefully resolved with a sandwich.  Goodnight, Anders thread. ;)

Not sure how some folks might feel about it, but I found a female Anders and I just find it simply adorable.

Pfff... Alistair and his quirky humour puppy eyes are adorable, I admit.
Bur Anders has the puppy eyes (should that be kitty eyes?), the humour, the angst, the cat and the whole world of crazy that Alistair will never have.

Do you have a cute fuzzy animal obsession, Alistair? Do you? (OK, so he has a rose... but the rose isn't Pounce.)

For me, Zevxm!Surana is my eternal canon. (Zev is frickin' adorable when you're far enough in the romance.<3)
