Nathaniel Howe in drag? Would he dress up as Frank-N-Furter in honour of his dad?

 One mental image is now replaced by another, although he seems happier in this one...oh god no, Anders as Rocky...

(and yes, I know, the physique...but to quote Stantz...'I couldn't help it.  It just...popped in there!')

Wouldn't Anders work better as Janet?

"Damnit, Anders!"

Yeah, they were great.  Not that I don't love Harry and Ginny too; how else would we have Ginders? :P

Ginders is love. <3

Also why does Lady Hawke look so much like Dan Radcliffe Harry...

Again, sorry for slowness. You'd think no-one would be using the internet at 2:30 am. Then again . . .

I RP'd my Hawke snarky (dual wield rogue), who uses humour much the way Anders did in Awakening (to cover up the emo), but when it comes to family, and people she cares about in general she's diplomatic/nice, has a massive blindspot to their flaws and is fiercely over protective. She's also an 'ends justify the means' sort of a girl, and so she completely agreed with Anders about the Chantry thing, and probably would have helped him if he'd let her.

I tried to make her more of a hardliner to counteract my warden who was a fencesitter (I wanted drama!), but I ended up loving them both equally, so I just couldn't make her be mean to people she loves!

No problem, I'm probably off to bed soon myself.

My canon Hawke was 2H warrior, She ironically seems to be the opposite of your Hawke in some ways and really similar in others. So, different in that she was generally diplomatic except with her friends. With her friends she was usually snarky, as they were the people she most felt comfortable joking with. She also ended up being snarky with people she didn't think deserved respect. Although, she was nearly always really soft and diplomatic with her family (Leandra and Bethany at least; she was pretty much always snarky with Gamlen). The same ended up being true with Anders. Although she would still argue with him at times, she was generally diplomatic with him.

She ended up being really pro-mage, so she was also pretty hardline but not quite an "ends justify the means" type. Although, after the whole Chantry bombing and subsequent running off with Anders, that seems to be slowly changing.

Hmm, thats quite interesting how we've played snarky/diplomatic the opposite way round (almost). They're definately the same with their family though, and Anders. I kind of loved the way the Justice quest played out in that regard because it really felt like a proper lovers argument to me.
Also, my Hawke was always an 'ends justify means' girl. She did some questionable things to get her family on that ship to Kirkwall . . .

I need to replay my canon once all the patches are done. Izzy ran off with the book the first time round, but they were totally BFFs in my mind. Damnit! :pinched:

I didn't even notice until I photoshopped her head onto his body. Then I was like, "Why is this so right?"

OK. I leave you unattended for a few damn minutes, I come back and there are Rocky Horror Picture show references.

And Anders is totally Janet.

...and now I'm imagining Nate singing "sweet transvestite." *sigh*

Yes, I loved the Justice quest arguments. It made the relationship seem more real.

I've already replayed canon Hawke. Izzy also ran off on her in the first run through, so I needed to fix that. Although, then I had to replay half of Act 3 after the second playthrough, because for some reason Fenris refused to join me that time even though he joined me the first time no problem. I foresee replaying one more time (at least) once all the patches come out.

Argh! Get out of my head!! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

On a personal level it's why I prefer DA2 Anders over DA:A Anders. I just can't put up with constant snark. It's not even the passionate defense of mages with me, Justice seems to have brought out more kindness too.
I wonder if Awakenings Anders would have run a free clinic in the sewers of a city where he'd likely be Tranquilled for it?

Lol, I've never heard it called 'Wolfstar' before! It's my fanon OTP. Hermione/Ron is my actual OTP. Apparently I like romances where is takes them years of aching for each other before they get together. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/angry.png[/smilie]

I could say something exceptionally creepy, but just take any of Anders' lines about ACHING and insert them as you will

Wolfstar is the word for it from FictionAlley.  I loved that ship.  I'd say Harry/Luna were my actual OTP just because Luna is so wonderfully quirky, but I also ship Ron/Hermione.

Ah, but I believe my previous post implied that I like that sort of thing. I WANT YOU RIGHT HERE UNTIL THE DAY WE DIE!! *ahem*

Ah, I was never as active on FictionAlley as other places. Oh, I love Harry and Luna. I was a tiny bit annoyed that they didn't have more of a thing because Harry seemed to be the only person to get Luna, and I was sad that she was lonely. The fact that I come up as Luna in every single one of those quiz things has nothing to do with it! Seriously though, love the story the way it is. :)

And in a total sideways leap I'm picturing Nate singing I Do the Rock...with a bad Orlesian accent and Shale on back-up vocals.  Tim Curry Madness

I just cannot get the image of Nate having a secret lair at Amaranthine out of my head now. That and singing sweet transvestite in the hall with the Seneshal watching.

Maybe it's time to go to sleep now.

You'll probably dream of the things on this thread.
I had a weird dream involving Meredanders, Fenris, Seb and a box of black ribons. :?

Tee hee. I fell down the stairs today. Only good thing about it (apart from lots of husband protective loveliness) I got to use the Anders line, "My BRUISES have bruises!" (They totally do).

If that line was used, I don't think that person should be on here...unless they are that dedicated.

I landed on my forearms and my (luckily) fleshy backside. I won't lie - one of my first thoughts after the screaming stopped was "Oh ****, what if I can't type??"
