Anders is a terrible liar and manipulator. So easy to see through him.

Didn't know he was going to blow the chantry up. But it's type obvious he's not trying to separate himself and Justice.

My husband guessed it when he played. After finishing that mission, he just said, "He's going to blow up the Chantry isn't he?" After the "boom" comment and the Grand Cleric saying balm like "bomb" it was apparently too obvious. I, being a terrible liar, just said I couldn't tell him.

Whenever ANYONE is attacking Anders I am on them like a mad dog. I'll be damned if anyone lays a hand on my Anders.

I even do this when I'm with Fenris, I hope he doesn't get jealous...

Only when he gets surrounded but usually if my team wipes, he is the last to fall. Then I use him to kite and kill my foes...especially high dragons

God yes my rogues are especially protective. The second Anders start screaming for help it's Back to Back time and whoever was attacking him is screwed.

i ignored the "boom" comment because, though he seemed a bit suspicious, I thought he was actually making a potion. I thought he was maybe going to die and that's why he was being fishy. As soon as he started talking about the Chantry, though, I knew he was up to something else entirely. I wasn't expecting anything on the scale of what he ended up doing, but I was almost entirely certain he was going to do something to kill the Grand Cleric.

As I said, though, my husband was better at putting together all the bomb references.

Oh yes. Since I was a warrior, I would rush over as soon as I would hear him getting hurt and kill the hell out of anything that was touching him.

I'll admit it, I was totally oblivious during that entire quest.
I seriously thought he was making a potion. I didn't know that the bomb and the potion were at all connected.

It's quite embarrassing actually.
I get it now though.

I didn't even know you can warn Elthina. When Anders asked you to help him conjure up a "potion", I immediately said no and shut him down hard. After that, I wasn't able to talk to him again until he blew up the Chantry. So I missed out on bucketloads worth of dialogue.

On the subject of gameplay, my favorite battle quotes of his are: "You messed with the wrong mage!" and "Destructive forces of nature coming up!". Everytime we go to battle, I'm always going, "who the hell is yelling?". Anders is fierce.

i ignored the "boom" comment because, though he seemed a bit suspicious, I thought he was actually making a potion. I thought he was maybe going to die and that's why he was being fishy. As soon as he started talking about the Chantry, though, I knew he was up to something else entirely. I wasn't expecting anything on the scale of what he ended up doing, but I was almost entirely certain he was going to do something to kill the Grand Cleric.

Yah I knew something else was up with "distracting the Grand Cleric" I was like ._. wtf do you need in a chantry? Your a mage! D< and then I ignored my alarm bells when people in my home decided to peek in and ask a bazillion questions and my friend had an emotional breakdown... woo!

i feel the urge to rush to his side too XD
i was protecting beth cause she was low on health but the moment i see someone go for anders
i rush to him....
and then beth got knocked out(i'm a terrible brother LoL)

I HATE THAT FIGHT SO GODDAMN MUCH.

Stupid Fenris charges the bloodmage and gets himself killed, Anders gets swarmed by Shades before I can do anything, And Varric gets overwhelmed either before Anders or after. My Rogue practically had to solo that fight. At least Fen had almost finished off the BM before kicked the bucket. D: 

Thankfully I had a fully upgraded Throw the Gauntlet so it wasn't too hard to kill the Pride demon.

Anders does just get so excited doesn't he? For some reason, he's usually the only one I hear during battle. So, either he's louder about it or I have selective hearing. Which is entirely possible...

I'm usually next to him anyways, he's a good gauge of how far I can be and still cast mega spells on people.
