Agreed.  The implication too is that Rolan, the templar Anders killed, joined after the events of Awakening.  Otherwise you would've had to drag him around everywhere with you if he was supposed to watch Anders.  Whomever succeeded the DA:O/DA:A Warden-Commander was appointed him, and was likely none of the party members and no one Anders knew or trusted--none of them would ever hand Anders over to templar scrutiny like that.

 Okay, so, the weirdest thing happened. I was cleaning a closet and from the top shelf something fell and hit me on the head. I picked it up to see what it was and...it was a DVD labeled only as "Manifesto". Seriously, who hides manifestos in people's closets...oh. 

Unfortunately it turned out to be something totally different although I must appreciate the keyword used here (my bf's doing most likely).

My poor Amell Warden.  She quit because she was just absolutely sick of being everyone's big goddamn hero all the time, because she didn't think she was cut out to rule an arling.  And then whomever succeeded her turned everything to hell once she was gone.

Isabela says after you kill Hayder that you shouldn't have good intentions.  One look at my DA characters proves that all too well <_<

Even when I played WoW I always did a double take at that one. I use BM as an abbreviation for bowel movement pretty consistently at work (at a veterinary hospital).

I know it's okay I am there with you, like freeing the circle..giving Anders a kitty.  Not knowing there was a "harden" mechanic for Alistair so I picked the comfort choice so he left me....

Don't worry; there are many conversations in this thread where Elthina is talked about in great detail. She's definitely not sweet, and not delusional in the way he's probably meaning. It's past my bedtime so I won't get into it, but I'm sure others would be glad to get into why Elthina is a crazy b****.

Her inaction was not sufficient to bring about all the violence and hate that consumed Kirkwall, but it was necessary.  And as far as I'm concerned, that makes her as culpable for what happened as Anders, Hawke, or Meredith.

Agreed. Elthina is not evil, but inaction sometimes is even worse than action. I hate that quote of Sebastian where he says the bravest thing to do is to step back and see what happens. Just, what.

You know, you can have good intentions and be useful. Or less useless - I mean, we could easily switch Elthina  and Gallows statue, give it a nice hat and noone would notice. Just sayin'. 
I understand she has to be "neutral ground" and "mother type" - but Maker, she is a BAD mother.
And I understand that Meredith has some support, and templars are in power here - but grow some balls... woman, and take control of people who are suppoused to be under you, not above. It's easier than you think, especially with the Champion on your side.
