Agreed. Elthina is not evil, but inaction sometimes is even worse than action. I hate that quote of Sebastian where he says the bravest thing to do is to step back and see what happens. Just, what.
Yeah, that made me kind of want to hit him. I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment of what he said; sometimes it helps to step back, think, and take stock instead of acting rashly. But the context was what made it facepalm-worthy. We're talking Act 3 Kirkwall, where just about any action is better than standing back and letting Meredith and Orsino tear the city apart. WAT.

Even though I don't have a mage Hawke yet, I kind of want to get the DLC just to give that staff to Anders. I would lol endlessly at him thumping that staff before he Jengas the Chantry. It also makes me imagine Orsino, Meredith, and everybody else staring at the staff, completely entranced and not even listening to what Anders is saying.

Warden: I have a gift for you!
Anders: Ooo! For me?
Warden: Yep! I remembered how much you like that statue in the yard...
Warden: And you're a mage, so when I saw this I thought it would be perfect.
Anders: *looks at staff*
Anders: *looks at Warden*
Anders: *looks at staff*
Anders: Oooooo! *runs away*
Oghren: Heh. Going off to play with his staff.
Warden: And his penis.

Bethany: Father, why is there a- *whispers*- naked woman on your staff?
Malcolm: Well dear, it gives me, er, vigor in battle.
Carver: When are you going to introduce me to this fine woman. I think I'd like to get to know her.
Malcolm: I think you already know your mother well enough.
Carver:

This is awesome. I now have to get this DLC just so I can give the staff to Anders. (I don't think it's either of my Hawke's styles.)

Not like that! I'm not The Pervstache. More of a sexy Malcolm/Leandra thing...that scars the Hawke children.

But, you *are* The Pervstache. I can not be blamed for the conclusions that I jump to.

Somehow I must have missed this. Does this occur at the beginning of the Act? Regardless, it seems perfectly in character with Sebastian. This is a guy who does nothing but sit back and watch others duke it out on his behalf. He's perpetually inactive. It makes him an interesting contrast to Anders, who takes a stand in the biggest way imaginable. If they merged together, you'd probably have the proper level of response.
Mm, anyone up for Sebanders?

It's an ambient banter, so it can happen at any point in act 3.

Imagine what Carver would have to say about Hawke wielding that staff.
Carver: Stop touching Mother that way. Please.
My Hawke would have to put a penis on it.
... Oh god that came out wrong. I mean, affix a fascimile of a phallus to the -- you know what? Nevermind.

His end with Hawker will be triagic. He is GW and inder Vengeance feets. Intresting he will go to die on Deep Roads?
I imagine Anders is destined for a bloody end sooner rather than his Calling later. He still has ~20 years before he has to go to the Deep Roads, and I can't imagine the lifespan of a renegade mage terrorist during a time of war is exactly lengthy.
