Our Wardens are apparently very un-Warden like!
No way was he going to risk sacrificing himself after being locked up in Circle all his life, so he was all about the DR. Screw the consequences!
Then sparred the Architect because he could understand why the Architect did what he did, and figured it would be worth it more long term anyways. Also, always good to have interesting and powerful allies.
Really, his whole DAO and Awakening playthrough ended up just being him cunning and lining up cards, so to speak, so they would be in his favor. I'm interested in finding out how that all worked for him in DA3 hopefully.
I know!
For my Surana it's like:
I spent the first four years of my life locked in a mansion as the son of a slave
Spent the next sixteen years locked in the Circle.
Then had to spend the next few months running around killing Darkspawn.
I am only just experiencing love and a normal life, and you want me to kill myself?
F*ck no! (The price was that he had to endure sleeping with Morrigan. Not that they aren't friends, but he isn't into women at all. Plus there's Zev...)
