I think the only thing that might be able to stop the dread sea otter is an army of honey badgers.

EDIT: Oh lord, top. Well, let's go with the animal theme and bring this back to Anders...

Swanders could also combat the Dread Sea Otter.

Now I feel much better about my Fen'Harel=sea otter conspiracy.
it all makes sense now

How did you know!?
You too must be a descendant of Andraste! :o

Nuuuu I do not want that baggage dumped on me. I'm far too lazy to begin bloody revolutions much less lead them.

EDIT

Buh. I was thinking:

Aveline would totally be a mama grizzly bear.
I think Wynne would be something like a dove or a deer
Varric could be a fox. All persuasive, cunning and snazzy like
Alistair would be a dog/mabari

What!? You would abandon the innocents who need your help, and fall prey to sloth!?!
THIS IS AN INJUSTICE!!!

Someone needs to do a full remake of this with magesmagesmagesmagesJUSTICEJUSTICE! That gif is not enough without music to accompany it.

EDIT: Oh hell, found this and decided it's good enough...

Guys, I went away when everyone was discussing Anders' eventual death. I come back and...nope, no words. Not that I want to go back to depressing topics. It's just the drift of this thread never fails to amuse me. It's like being caught in a rip tide. With otters, apparently.

I shall repeat what I said last time:

"Attention passengers, we appear to be leaving Emo-Land and heading straight for crack-island.
Please remain seated as we approach Andersbutt all around insanity."

PS. You missed the Dread Sea Otter warnings.

As with Anders, no middle ground.  When we're serious or angsty, we are really serious or angsty, and the happytimes are very very happy indeed.

So I just read the last couple of pages, and I have 2 things to say:

1) I could totally see Anders being a descendent of Andraste. Even if he's not, there are a lot of parallels between the two of them. I'm sure at least some must've been intentional.

2) I always kill the Architect. I never really kill anyone unless when I don't have a choice, or unless said person is just a plot irrelevant criminal I suppose. But it just felt wrong to let the Architect live. He's much too shady.

edit: fixed some typos and stuff

Especially because Andraste was sure to have been a mage. It's too amazing not to be true. And I always kill the Architect too. Except on my morally defficient character.

I also always end up killing the Architect. He felt a bit bumbling to me. Everything he does seems to end terribly. I don't really trust him to pull off any sort of master plan without borking it somehow.

Oh, and... Andersbutt.

The problem is his "master plan" involved experimenting with and possibly torturing and killing humans. I'm sorry, but no.

Haha, well, there's that too. I didn't approve of his plan or his methods. But then on top of that, even if I really, really squint hard to understand his plan, I come back to him borking everything.
