...Huh. Now I'm confused. Why would Mouse show himself to the Warden twice? What would he stand to gain the second time after the Warden was fully aware that he was a Pride Demon? I don't think they're the same person...it would be odd for the Warden not to mention it in that case. (or for Mouse not too).

She probably is the idol now.
Never ever underestimate Bioware and what they are willing to do to make you scream and cry (from misery, frustration, sheer WTFISGOINGONNOW!?!?...)

...I swear to god I will throw my copy of DA3 across the room if that's true.

Shouldn't those heavy suits of armor conduct electricity? =]

:crying:

You didn't need to use the Arishok to say so! I admit my knowledge of what conducts electricity is iffy but I could've sworn most metals could do so!

Edit: And I have a really weird bug. there's this random templar dude praying in the gallows after I spare the mages that run up to Hawke. He's just...praying for some reason and I can't interact with him or anything but when I go into the room with the enchanted mages he up and attacks me. <_< WTF?

This is Thedas! In fact, worse, it's Kirkwall!
Science has no meaning in Kirkwall! It defies all laws of nature! Foolish fool!
Now go and play with your cursed artifact, and nevermind the batsh*t insane blood mage over there killing innocents. The Templars will sort them out in a year or two when they notice what's going on...

It's the lyrium.

It was a different Mouse. I'm sure more than one person/spirit/thing in the fade can learn to turn into a mouse. Also, totally different voices.

The Fade is a place of where willpower can be used to changed the surroundings. I always force the Valor spirit to give me his staff because I have a good little bit of willpower at the start.

Oh man, now I am just imagining people selling off bits of idol!Meredith and selling them as souvenirs or something. This is will be the start of DA3. Just watch.

What if idol!Meredith is shattered by the Wounded Coast and her ashes spread through the continent and the seas, and mass corruption happens, with magical side effects everywhere, even on animals maybe... :o

Anders could start a journey to purge the world to redeem himself.
Or he would cure only kittens.

Seriously though, that idol!Meredith is creepy, I wonder what the Templars will do with that.

Seeing my banners all in one place makes me giggle. If only because I can say things like, "Oh man, all I can see on my screen is everybody kissing everybody and Andersbutt."

Use it as a doorstop. Or a paperweight. Seriously, I wouldn't put it past them to do something stupid with it.

For some reason, I always imagined Cullen just draping a cloth over Meredith's petrified remains and putting in for a transfer. I bet it's still in the Gallows.

Join the Order, they said. Serve the Maker, they said. I'm getting to old for this ****.

@Heidenreich, are you sure? He had a completely different voice actor as well.

Mouse/Pride Demon IMO, gave the best advice in both games so far, and yes I think he trumps Flemeth's as well. Plus he's a BAMF simply because of the voice he says those lines in as well. Valor is up there as well, just less a prig, lol.

*snip*

Mouse remains my favourite minor-character.
Second is The Queen of Antiva Caroll "Ooh! Cookies!" / "So, you want to go to the tower? I think we should go. Now. Right now. NOW!!!"

Because he's dieing. He doesn't have enough time to be like "oh hey I remember you!"

Why would they need to make more then one demon that can turn into a mouse? A more logical explination is thus:

Mouse warns you that Sloth is very powerful and dangerous. The only reason he doesn't bother to attack is because he's currently disintrested -- Sloth tells you as much.

Later on, at the circle tower, sloth has been placed inside a mage's body, and now he's not disintrested ;p

Mouse is a pride demon, yes, but just because pride demons in general are powerful, doesn't mean this one in particular is very tough. He's been feeding mage initiates to a rage demon, as per the conversation about how he was to weak to do it himself and needed the help.

Thus, mouse is a-not-as-powerful-as-he-could-be pride demon, who gets slaughtered by sloth (or any other number of the lesser demons helping him). You encounter him and he's all "OMG I'm dieing. Here. Turn into a mouse and get that SOB for me. Thx."

SEE, perfectly logical. :wizard:

Oh yeah...I forgot about that. Kind of got confused after my Hawkes actually bothering to dodge Dragon's Flamebreath silly me.

But realistically speaking...couldn't they fry/electricute several templars to death? That heavy armor isn't really an advantage fighting mages is it? Unless maybe the armor is imbedded with someting to help resist magic? Which...doesn't work so well for the templar that got frozen in the FMV. :?

The lyrium does everything. I can't forget that. :pinched:

I could picture them leaving it right there because they can't be bothered to dispose of it. :pinched: Or have some idiot initates trying to see if it works like "normal" lyrium.

@Heidenreich: Yes that makes sense. It's too bad in the mage origin you didn't get hounded by that Pride Demon later (maybe have little scenes where he tries to tempt you with power or something and you can come closer and closer to accepting his offer) might've made the whole demon temptation bit more real.

Hahaha. I can see Templars snorting lines of Meredith.

It's hilarious how the templars have essentially become the stormtroopers of DA.

Agreed. You don't want to ****** your money makers off. (Not to mention the people who would pay for their services).

You do, however, want to shake them whenever necessary.

Right Cullen, join us as a party member in DA3. (and maybe LI?)

You are wasted in Kirkwall anyway

Oh, no, I certainly don't mind. It makes me happy to see people making use of them. For I too am always up for a spot of kissing Andersbutt.:wizard:

EDIT: Or in the case of my current signature, marrying Andersbutt.

Oh, on the "Mouse is dead" theory:

He's a pride demon, the most powerful, intelligent demons around.

Maybe he wants us to think he's dead!

I was under the impression that the mouse you meet the second time around was just some random dreamer. Or a Circle mage Yvyna had trapped. After all, Niall tells you there are "many such" (shapeshifted people) when you mention running into him.
