Thanks for the tips on writers block ^_^ I am finding when it comes to writing about Anders dealing with Justice. I personally felt the writers just couldn't make their minds up, so I have to make up mine and I don't want to ruin it, I think is the best way of putting it.

I'm pretty sure it was Anders who couldn't make his mind up instead of the writers :wizard:

Yeah...that was a bit of a WAT moment when everyone was going on about BLOOD MAGIC BAD and my Hawke was standing right there twiddling her fingers innocently.

I know!
It's like, I saved Cullen (Cullen!) from abominations using blood magic, and he thanks me.
HELOOOOO!?! Uldred rants? Are you blind man!? (Well, he's a templar, so obviously... but still)

Fenris: "Every mage is an evil blood mage just waiting to turn into an abomination. Except you Hawke. You're my BFFFL!"^_^
Hawke: "Erm... OK. Love you too!" (Did he not notice me using blood magic over the past nine years or something...?)

Meredith - hell, the entire city of Kirkwall - has seen Hawke use blood magic!
But apparently that went unnoticed.

And goddamnit I want an angsty argument from an angry worried Anders!!!

I love that picture.
Despite the fact that it's clearly the DA2 outfit, it makes me think Blackmarsh.
Ah, nostalgia... and irony....

I never go blood mage.  Stealing blood from the very people who trust you just... ew.

You don't have to steal anyone else's blood.  I haven't played a true blood mage in DA2 yet, but in my Origins file I only used Blood Sacrifice one time.  Even then it was mostly to see what happened, not that I actually needed to.

Thedeans (is that a thing?) seem to lack a traditional cardiovascular system and are, in fact, sentient sacks of pressurized blood.

Which begs me to ask, in a world where a paper cut can drown a family of five in blood, how the hell isn't Goldanna making a better living as a laundress?

She's so sour and miserable by now, all her blood dried up.

I find the lack of any reaction to the gorier specs hilarious. Just ONCE I'd like Varric to bring it up in his story. "...and then Hawke ate his soul. You know...she was low on health, Blondie's heal spells were on cool down and she'd forgotten to order potions.Eh. It happens."

That.
Would be epic. XD

I rationalized it as my Hawke being very careful not to leave random witnesses to her blood magic (since 99% of the time the only other people around are the people you're murdering), and being quite good at hiding it.  I figured she's been a blood mage for a long time; like the Warden and a few others, she can use it without getting herself corrupted or possessed.  And I figured at some point over the years, she's talked to her companions about it.

Bastards.

More specialisation reactions in DA3 please?
I mean Templars and Blood mages played a pretty big part in the bloody game, you'd think they'd notice!!!

My Canon Hawke was a templar/reaver(blood mage for melee)  I friendmanced Anders it was cute ^_^ all those roleplays he mentioned to Aveline he got to live them:devil:

Thankfully there is fanfiction, so I can add said talks there...still wish there was more reactions to your spec in game.

I understand your feeling about Anders/Justice.  I personally feel like Anders and justice are still "seperate"  but "inseperable" if that makes any sense.  Their personalities are still seperate enough that you and they can tell when it is one or the other talking, but they are intwined enough not be able to be seperated into two beings again.  So they are one being but two entities if that makes sense.

Also I have this thing about Justice/vengeance as well.  I still don't think that Justice is gone.  I think that Justice is still there, it's just that when confronted by specific injustices (templars, tranquil, etc.) he comes out as Vengeance because of Anders' hatred and stuff.  However if we were confronted with like slavery or another injustice that isn't so personal for Anders, were we to talk to Justice, he would still be Justice...

Am I not making sense?  Ah well, I'll go hide in my corner.

No one in Kirkwall that is for sure!  everyone in that city is blinder then a bat.  No wonder it didn't take place in Fereldan.

It's even better when he does that with Allure's Crook, blunted wooden staff straight through the gut.

You're both wrong.
Hawke is such a brilliant a epic blood mage that (s)he uses his/her magic to make people believe that they're not seeing blood magic!

Yep. Hundreds of people all at once, despite the fact that the expanditure of that should kill him/her.

Dammit, now I have to play Blood Mage. If for no other reason than to go charging around Kirkwall, screaming "SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!" at the top of my lungs.
...
Of course, I suppose I could also do that with my warrior, but it wouldn't be as fabulous spectacular.

Cut yourself? Slit your wrist? What kind of whimpy, pathetic self-mutilation is that!?
No, no, no! You stab yourself in the stomach with a long stick!

Self-mutilation, kiddies.  You're doing it wrong.

These two seem particularly relevant.

I suspect everyone in Kirkwall is just a bit thick. Lyrium in the water, and all that.

You are hereby infintely superior to your friend. Factions which legitimately field units called Death Jesters automatically win everything, forever.
