possibly or he was out on one of his outings at that point.  Anders I don't think ever gives details on his outings.

He does say "Hey! I recognize you from the circle!" if you're a mage.

But if he was there when we started the game or the main quest there I dunno.

I suspect he was in solitary when the warden left the Tower, he was meant to be there for a year before his last escape attempt and Uldred's rebellion (or even Jowan's attempted escape) would both be good opportunities to run - all the confusion and stuff.

i lied. cullen locked him up - to remove the unresistable temptation from his favourite apprentice. he had a bad reputation, and cullen likes good girls

Should this remind me of Kiki's Delivery Service, with the bodiless head of Justice as the black kitty?

Mages should invent flying staffs, then offer FedEx service.  Let's see the Chantry try to repress them then!  Seneschal Bran won't have it!  He needs this scroll delivered to Denerim in two business days!

Howl's Moving Castle, not Kiki's Delivery.  Different films, but both by Hayao Miyazaki.  The man's style must be so strong that I even recognize it in fanart inspired by his work.  Ha!

If she doesn't lurk here right now, we could just go there and post our squees.

That doesn't give her the right to call it.  Especially since she sent to the Divine.  She should have waited for the Divine's response.  

DG=Gaider?  If that's what he's saying, it's not supported by anything I've found in the lore.  But... he's The Maker...

Pages back so not sure if anyone's addressed this. I can't find the thread, but I'm 90% sure David Gaider says it's perfectly legal. Because Elthina was killed Meredith was within her rights as the next in line to assume command and call and execute the annulment.
