@Sialater: Thank you. It is hard to translate feelings. Though American is English, it seems so different and it can be difficult.

@Dreaming: She loves both flowers equally. I always thought in the friendmance Justice does develop some sort of feelings for Hawke, as he/she helps him remember what Kristoff and his wife had. But like Anders he doesn't want to tarnish her with their plans, and their as he thinks they own corruption. Also he doesn't fully get love, but he has the feelings and tries to get Anders to act on them for him.

I am a complete helpless romantic.

edit for top:

Also I will keep posting it because it is so beautiful, and it made me teary eye'd not to mention on topic of Justice love! read it!!!

...I... I don't know. :crying:

(I just look at him, and the first name that comes into my head is "Sandra". "Sandy". Maybe because of his hair colour/eyes?)

Hawke will just have to name her first child Sand(ra).

If Hawke and Anders have an elven kid, I'd be worried. XD
But that would be... interesting...

And puts some interesting perspective on NWN2. (Sand does have a cat familiar...)

Okay, I just for the first time got the dialogue scene between Anders and Dog in Gamlen's house, where Anders walks off with major sad!face going "I miss Ser Pounce a Lot."

*sniffle* That just made me wanna cry for him.  I miss my kitties, too, sweetie.  :crying:

Damn those Wardens for making him give up his kitty.  Everything that happened in Kirkwall is all their fault!

I know. I think the dog made him cry...

I support a DLC where we do the Sebastian to whoever took the cat. (Except we'd actually be more efficient than Seb)

@Dreaming-in-Shadow if Anders and Hawke have ANY kind of kid I'll be worried. Anders is not exactly in a fit state to be a parent. And Hawke spends way too much time running around getting into fights.

I wonder why his name is hidden. There is no reason I've seen to keep it secret. Gaidan has said that he is neither Wynne's or Maric's son. But could he be related to another important character? Really there is a lot of questions about Anders past that isn't completely explained. We know he was in the Ferelden Circle but he is from the Anderfels, hints the nickname Anders. Why was sent that far south? I swear every game/DLC/expansion they release for Dragon Age raises more questions then answers. It's maddening!

Nicknames. hmm?
Well when it comes to Anders, the first word that comes into my mind in Hands, followed by sparklefingers... guess Anders has magic hands, hmm? XD
Or darling, or honey... I called him baby-cakes once...
Were it not for the bipolar-symptoms and the Justice problem, DA2's slightly maturer Anders would be like an ideal husband to me. *sigh* He and Hawke must have at least one kid before they die.
Anders' genetics must be continued. (The smirk is totally genetic material)

Zevran is Zev, or Sweetie.
Or Sexy, or Baby.

I have a habit of calling Alistair, Xander. Heh... The writers liked watching Buffy way too much.

Thane... Thane is too cool for nicknames.

Valen... I dunno I've called him blue-eyes and... er... Wild-Fire (it's the hair and the temper)
And other things when I'm in a more perverted mood relating to his horns and tail... XD

I called Valen broody or a word I can't reall translate >_> but basically my hearts heart.  He even trumps Anders in order of fangirl love.  Valen was my first game love and holds a special place in my heart...I mean that voice and when calls me "My lady" and when he tells you he loves you *dies*

Valen!  I have to say he was always one of my favorites.  Although he doesn't even come close to Anders in my book.  Of course I didn't play many female chacraters in NWN.  Most of my female characters were head-over-heels in love with Tomi Undergallows Posted Image

Most of my heroes were male and wished Aribeth didn't go crazy.  I always loved that elven paladin for some reason,

Oh... Anders is always on topic Posted Image

That's when you conveniently leave your kid with a trusted and responsible family friend.
Uncle Varric?
Aunty Aveline and Donnic?
Uncle Carver/Aunty Beth?
The Warden? XD

Basically, always click on the dog every time you're in Gamlen's house during Act 1.  Hell, click on him two or three times.  Apparently all your companions like Dog even more than they like you...seems like they're always randomly dropping by to talk with him.  When I got the dialogue bit with Anders, basically I'd gone to the house to throw some items in storage, and lo! I saw Anders just randomly standing in the corner.  Clicked on the Dog and voila!

It would probably be nigh impossible for them to have a kid anyway.  Anders has been a Warden for about 7-8 years by the end of Act III, so him having kids would be just about impossible.

That little dialogue is both really adorable and really depressing. Of course, that sums up Anders himself many times.

Look. In a world where Zevran can give up having sex with everybody who looks even mildly attractive to him for the sake of one man/woman, or where Oghren of all people can get married and have a kid and you can take your own sweet time saving the world.

Anything can happen. Especially if you don't want it to happen.

Seriously. It's Thedas. The worst will happen.

Hawke and Anders could find out that uh-oh they've got a kid on the way and neither of them are fit to care for it.
So they have to abort it or give said child up. There's a chance the kid could be a miscarriage, a stilborn or tainted with Blight-plague.

It isn't pretty. It will be tragic.
Thus it could happen.

I think the only one out of that group I would trust with a kid would be Bethany. But only circle Bethany. Warden Beth would be all "no emotions!" And maybe Uncle Carver (oh gods Uncle Carver would be the best uncle ever. He'd teach your kids to fight!). But only Warden Carver. Templar Carver would be too...templar for the child of two mages.

I think it's just that his parents were from the Anderfels, the family lived in Ferelden. But that might just be my interpretation of how that went down.

There was something on this thread a few dozen pages back about Anders possibly being a descendent of Andraste and maybe that's why he keeps his name hidden? Personally I think it's because it's sort of a symbolic rejection of his family. They turned him in, so now he wants nothing to do with them, including not keeping their name and the name they gave him.

Bolded part for just... the last person I would pick for watching my child. With Zev around, it would be just as bad as asking Isabela to babysit!

And after everything my Hawke and Anders have gone through, I think it would mean a lot to both of them if they ended up parents. Sure, probably not the best choice, but sometimes people deserve a moment of selfishness- Maybe when things settle down more to be fair.
Sides, not as if Thedas can get much more messed up at this point. :bandit:

Circle Bethany would be an apostate on the run, which would be what Anders and Hawke tried to save their child from.

I'd go with Warden Carver, to be honest.
As a Warden, he'd be kept immune from the Chantry, and maybe be able to find a way to keep his nephew/niece hidden as well. Particularly if there's a more benevolent Warden Commander present (with powerful contacts, too)

lol.
Zev: And, so that's what happens when a man and a woman love each other very much.
Kid:
Zev: It's a little different for a man who loves another man though--
Warden: Zevran what the hell are you teaching that child!?
Zev: The facts of life, my dear Warden!
Warden: *facepalm*

My point was that if you entrust the child to the WC, who is almost totally immune to politics and has powerful connections, the child may have a good chance of escaping the Seeker's notice.

Re: Circle Bethany, true, but maybe babysitting for an hour or so? I mean for a time they're all on the run together, so maybe she could babysit while Hawke and Anders go have some parent time to themselves?

On the other hand I am totally squeeing over the idea of Uncle Warden Carver. Uncle Carver would be the most badass uncle ever. He grew up in a fairly normal family, so he's probably at least halfway decent with kids. I feel like he'd be the kind of uncle who spoils his nieces and nephews rotten just to annoy their parents. And looks good with kids to pick up women.

I would trust my Warden with a kid... of course that would be entrusting a kid to a pair of blood mages, maybe that's not a great idea.

Just let Varric take care of him. Of course I don't think my Hawke would ever send her kid away. She might end up resorting to blood magic to keep him safe and with her, but there's no way she'd ever give him/her up.

One thing I like about Carver, no matter how much of a jerk he can be, in the end he'll always put his family first.
...and I am so going to write a fanfic about this.

Anders and Hawke's kid being raised in Amaranthine. She (I'm thinking a daughter for some reason) could stay with Delilah Howe and her family...

And the Wardens (Carver + Warden and Awakening companions) could be like a second dysfunctional family or something.
