As an old time Anders fangirl the current *anders* isn't anders in my book anyhow. He was much more of a scamp, liked females *a lot* and looked different as well as sounded different.

But fluffy "happily-ever-after" is so unrealistic. Real relationships have metric-crap-tons of drama in between the fluffy bits. Maybe not "blows up Chantries" or "Has to die or have an illegitimate god-baby to live" kinds of drama. But still drama. Yes I am aware that I am requesting real-type relationships in my fantasy games. But still. Fluff is nice, but in the end, it's just fluff, and blows away with the slightest breeze. Drama is substantial.

I saw that Dragon Age Facebook page just asked "Who's your favourite Dragon Age character?"

To be honest you can choose only Varric, Merril, Isabela or Anders.
Fenris has reasons to be broody now.

Varric is winning big time, no surprise...second is Isabela. Confirms my theory that in that drama, whoever has a bit of humor and helps lighten the mood, is welcomed.

Since there is no Zveran, and Varric doesn't need help, I'm going to vote Anders! Anders needs help

Even because, it just crossed my mind that it might have something to do with the DLC...maybe they are trying to get some data. Only 4 choices from DA2 IS strange...

He'd never be able to fit into Anders' clothes. Those monster arms would rip the patchwork sleeves to shreds D:

On the plus side, if Anders puts on mHawke's clothes (smoking jacket, for example), it'll hang all loose and baggy off him >3< Hee.

We all have to agree that putting Varric on the poll was inherently unfair. We all know that everyone loves Varric way too damn much. They should have put Fenris in instead of Varric and the numbers would be much closer IMO.

I know in-game models are limiting, but I've always pictured my femHawke as quite a tall woman, easily as tall as her brother.

LAWL.  Mine has a bit of a soft spot for fancy things after she moves into Hightown.  Between Izzy stealing her dresses and Anders her dressing gowns for mage robes, she's at her wits' end.

I can't believe Anders is last in that FB poll! Hoooow?? Obviously hanging out in this thread and avoiding the negativity on the rest of the boards has skewed my perceptions - I honestly thought he was more popular than that. I love Varric and all (who doesn't?), but - damn.
Ah well, I've always rooted for the underdog. 



(I got the game on PS3 initially but I got the Mac version a week ago and maaaaaan has it been screenshotpalooza since.)

See I RP as teeny!Hawke for my rogue (She's about 5 feet tall) so she would be swimming in Anders' clothes. Which admittedly is also an adorable image.

Well, their arms are like, the same size xD I dunno about the rest of their wardrobe (well maybe pants since Anders is hipless and assless >.>), unless Hawke wants to make constant trips to the tailor.

I said not to long ago that I would eventually post the image I have been working on of Jethann and Hawke.

Its just a preview, and the preview version contains no elfdick. The full version however, does. Its mostly complete, I just have to finish the background, lest Jethann and Hawke have sex floating in a white space known as artiste purgatory.

Sorry that I made it a link but since it doesn't contain Anders, and this is the Anders Forum, I figured it would be best that way. For those that enjoy Jethann/Hawke, well...enjoy. When its finished, I'll post the finished version to the M/M Fanart group.
