Femders is adorable...and makes me wonder how would Justice react to being in a female body...

I wonder if Justice identifies more with either gender?

Justice expressed interest in possessing a female corpse in DAA, so I don't really think he cares too much.

Nobody loves me.

It's OK, I can sulk by myself.

It's more of a matter of people disagreeing with your opinion rather than not liking you, which happens here all the time :)

Can Justice identify with a gender? He's...Justice. I would think that that would make him fairly non gender-specific.

I think I remember Jennifer Hepler referring to him as a male spirit in her post regarding Anders' sexuality, but that could just be me making things up.

Edit: and I just noticed that I used male pronouns to refer to Justice. I guess that goes against the point I was trying to make. Although it feels odd to call a character it.

Between him and Velanna and well, if you're like me and you rarely kept her around, then that's understandable.

Actually I made the same argument myself a while back.  But heck, I don't think it really matters.  Either way he is a REVOLUTIONARY!

Psst! Didn't require a response. Probably better off without one. But thanks... FWIW

We look at him and register him as a seemingly male spirit with the booming deep voice and form. Anders let him into his body, level of intamacy blah blah blah.
But I doubt he really identifies with any gender.

Yeah...that explains everything.  Oh god Velanna. Ugh. Just...ugh.

I do miss Anders' awakening earring. :(

He's both!

It does matter though.  In the same way it would if people were to say that what Meredith was doing wasn't oppressive/the police state.  The stakes being what they are add to the drama of Hawke having to endorse - either implicitly or explicitly - the tactics of one or the other.

Especially when she and Nate start flirting. You're too good for her, Nate!

That banter was kind of funny. V: "If I die, you stay away from my corpse."  J: "Your objection is noted."

I liked the Velanna/Nate flirts. Nate got to be charming, and Velanna kinda warmed up to humans. It was sweet.

Charming Nate was nice. :) I just don't like Velanna. Eh. I'll drag her around on my next Awakening playthrough and see if I warm up to her-Anders usually takes her spot.

Velanna as a person irritates the hell out of me. Velanna as a character is wonderful because she's such a b***h most of the time. Anders goes out of his way to annoy her (and everyone else). Nate just wants to have a conversation it seems. Sample banter:

Nathaniel: So you have a sister? A younger sister?
Velanna: That is no secret. I've mentioned her several times now.
Nathaniel: For the longest time, I thought my sister was dead. When we were children, she put beetles in my blankets. She would laugh to hear me shriek.
Velanna: Seranni liked to put sap in my hair. She also pushed me into an icy river. Twice.
Nathaniel: Ouch.
Velanna: Hmm. Yes. Why did I want to rescue her, again?

Bolded: Exactly! :wizard: She's a bit better if you play as a Dalish-politer when you first talk to her in the Wending Wood.

I think this banter is followed by the one where Nate mentions stealing Delilah's doll, ripping its arms off, and leaving it where she would find it. And Velanna's ears are clownish. ^_^

Anders is usually my healer/nuker in Awakening. When he first mentioned hating the Deep Roads in DA2, it confused me because I didn't remember him complaining about it. Then I played through Awakening again recently, and dragged him down there.

Anders: It's dark down here, And heavy. And dark.
That's a lot of rock over our heads. Miles and miles of rock...
Is this a bad time to mention I'm claustrophobic?

Poor guy. He gets a funny line when you meet the Baroness.
Anders: something about how antagonizing a powerful mage is a bad idea
Warden: Come on. It'll be fun. :wizard:
Anders: :pinched:This "fun" you're talking about looks a bit more like "stupid" from over here.

"Is this a bad time to tell you I'm claustrophobic?"
I wish he had dialogue that reflected that in DAII >:\\

"YOU HAVE BEEN A GREAT FRIEND. MORE THAN I DESERVE."
Anders, sweetheart, I don't think in the Deep Roads is the perfect time for that.

Totally forgot about that part and I'm actually happy in a weird twisty way that he's depressed about being in dark tight spaces because damnit I want him to make more references to his year in solitary.

Zoom in on this... couldn't find it the site I got it from, but they seem to be the same color as the sleeves on his jacket.

That's odd, because he seems pretty enthusiastic about entering dark tight spaces in my game.  Repeatedly.

Heh. Well done.

On a more serious note, I do like the references to claustrophobia and the association with solitary because it makes his character a little deeper, in a really depressing way.

same. Sigh... Dragon Age has gotten me addicted to the tragic side of their characters/stories.

But his claustrophobia makes complete sense in light of his background. I wonder if that's why he was so quick to go from first kiss to moving in with hawk. He probably hates to be by himself in the dark.
