I had the opposite problem: Fenris showed up after A Bitter Pill and "Don't go" wasn't there. I flirted with Isabela once and she showed up at the beginning of Act 2 but I booted her out. Anders had just given me the "I would drown us in blood" line that makes me want to run straight to Fenris because, let's be honest, that's creepy, but I hadn't slept with anyone yet. And still Fenris, despite QB before ABP, did not leap into my arms. How can I turn to Anders for comfort if the elf refuses to dump me?

Thank you, shameboner Seb is now part of my headcanon.   He was stalking even in Act 1, before they officially met!  That explains everything.

I romanced Fenris after Isabela. I did wait for Isabela to run off with the book though. (She came back but by then I was with Fenris).

Not sure if that's a bug. I didn't pick any broken heart icons with her either.  

I did have to do his questioning beliefs after a bitter pill though. (Actually I was planning on going from Issy to Anders and needless to say I got home and realized Fenris was waiting. Ah that was a bitter surprise because right after that Anders was waiting as well.  

I ended up just being with Fenris but good grief that was annoying and hilarious. 

..And then I forgot I picked a heart with Merrill.  oh my poor Hawke was a heartbreaker. A very confused heartbreaker at that.

Turn to snuggly Anders for comfort because the oblivious elf refuses to even notice Hawke's feelings?

My evil blood mage used both Fenris and Anders concurrently, but I don't recall who she went after first, sorry.   Slept with Fenris first.  Then slept with Anders, lied about Fenris-on-the-side, then Fenris noticed what was up, and swore to kill Anders if he hurt Hawke.  It was all very angsty and drama filled.

I would ask in the Fenris thread, but all non-Anders threads scare me.

To all concern over the Don't Go. That only shows up at certain friend/rival level.
But it tends to be that if someone shows up at your doorstep before Fenris... he's not going to come to you. At least from all the Fenris posts I've seen lol.
You can first with Anders and turn him down at the end of the second convo... and Fenris will still give you 'Don't go' option if friend/rival high enough or show up at your house at night.
The Isabela thing is well known to mess up a lot of things... from the epilogue to Fenris not wanting you. The man has standards? I dunno, lol. It's funny that Anders is a LOT more understanding before you get with him... you just can't back out once he's committed and arrived at your house without him being unhappy. But you can do Isabela/Fenris/Merrill and he'll still have you if you're not in a relationship with those people. Fenris... not so much. Maybe it's a bug maybe he's meant to be that way.

So summary: you can flirt with people, but you have to end any relationship potential before the Fenris Bitter Pill... or else he'll assume that you're in a relationship with whoever you started Hearting with.

Maybe. I never got the chance to see if Anders' still talked about her because he got ninja'd by Fenris.  

And I believe I got the Don't Go option but he just walked off because I hadn't done his QB.

Yeah, same in my game. I almost made my Hawke hook up with him as a one-time thing, but then I was like... naaaah. Adds too much melodrama and I really believe Isabela is a lot better for Fenris than Hawke >.> Doesn't feel as dependent as his relationship with Hawke ends up feeling for me. Plus, she actually makes him funny and likable. He can stay on the party boat with her and learn to actually live.

And yeah the whole sex = feelings thing irked me. I get it with someone as melodramatic as Anders but Fenris...come on. Especially in a rivalry. I would've preferred to have him and Hawke have the potential for a casual relationship that grew into something more. 

His leaving would've had more impact for me that way if he and Hawke were in a friends with benefits relationship when the memories hit. 

He makes up for it with that endgame kiss though.

I fear I flirted too much with Anders first.  I did Dissent before I went home to see Fenris.  I guess I'll just have to fall into Anders's arms in despair. 
ETA that I see Fenris as fascinated with Hawke as well, just not as...obsessively as Anders.  But he doesn't know how to say it or show it.  He suffers in silence and only turns to Izzy out of jealousy when Hawke is with someone else.  Then he figures out it's fun, not all deep feelings and torment.  If only you could get him AFTER that point he could be a lot more entertaining.

All this talk of romance and people on the live stream mentioning DAO makes realize how I have a hard time trying all the romances. In DAO all my wardens(female) romanced Alistair expect one I made just for Zev.

My male Wardens were all over Morrigan or Zev.

In DA2 my F!Hawkes swoon over Anders and my M!Hawkes swoon over Merrill or Anders(because omg Anders voice)

I romanced Fenris but I had to do it as a M!Hawke, thanks to my boyfriend telling me he could only see the elf being romanced by a dominate male...It became head canon after that.

I do have a Hawke made just to Izzy though I would like to see hers.

Mmmm, feelings!  I like 'em!  Doesn't he say something about Hawke being special or unique or extraordinary, or am I imagining things?  I could be.

That bolded part is based on what he said to my Hawke.  I forgot about Izzy!  He doesn't get together with Izzy until Act 3, I believe?  Maybe in that time they've grown close, and there's more to it than what their banter indicates?  The banter makes them sound like f***-buddies, meh.  Fenris is very lonely, so I hope he gets something more than itch-scratching from Izzy.

Or Fenris' views about intimacy have changed since he spoke with Hawke?  Maybe it's just mages he can't seem to change his mind about, until the last 5 minutes of the game.

I'd say as usual, it depends on the Hawke, but for my Hawke, this is absolutely true.  Fenris and Isabela were probably second after Aveline and Donnic in the "we are actually a functional couple that might work out" camp.

Thanks for all of the info dudes, except I can safely say I'm still not 100% sure on how to bang everyone without someone getting all prissy about it, but I THINK I've got it.

Oh, another question - if you DO do everyone, do you miss out on any conversations? Or does it add more? Such as, do you miss out on some initial convos with an LI because you're too busy convoing with another? Or do you get all of them?

Meh, maybe I should just start working my way around Kirkwall and just see what happens.

Why? I think it's perfectly reasonable to suppose that a computer generated character could retain memories of previous incarnations.
