I wonder what came first, DA2 Anders or Awakening Anders?

It has been stated that BW started working on DA2 before DA:O came out, so it could be either way really. But since the story/characters are among the first things to be decided for a game, I honestly I get the impression that the DA2 one came first, and that Anders/Justice being in Awakening was a later decision.

I have to agree. I wasn't sure at first, and I wavered every time I heard Cullen talk, but ultimately I ended up really liking him... well then really hating him briefly.... but what can I say... I couldn't kill him.

I was a bit surprised (in a good way of course). I would say I was more surprised how fast things went from there. Three years or so of flirting to, in a single day, super hot kisses, sex, declarations of love, and moving in. I guess I was just used to the slower paced Alistair romance. That's what 3 years of repression will do to a guy though, I suppose.

That's why I avoided these forums and youtube while I was playing. Though I got curious about Anders and came here since the romance was taking so long.... and found out that he blew up the chantry

I picked a sarcastic option, Hawke said something about driving him mad, and i thought: "Ok, now he will say that he's not ready, it won't end well etc." And he sort of jumped on Hawke. I dropped my jaw on the floor. Poor guy was really hungry for love. It must be the famous Grey Warden appetite.

I was so surprised when the kiss happened, because it was a situation where I just idly clicked on him after the post-Dissent talk and all of a sudden he was happily setting milk out for cats and Hawke was being all sparkly and flirty. Then he went again and then...KISS.

I am not lying at all when I say that after the kiss I got hella lost in Darktown trying to get to the map. I was imagining Varric and Fenris having to grab Hawke and drag her to that lift before she happy-flailed herself over a ledge.

Hawke:..eeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
Varric: Although awkward, at least I'll have something to work from. She's usually not very forthcoming with these sorts of details.
Hawke: ...eeeeeeeeeeeeee...
Fenris: I could have lived a long and happy life without seeing such a thing, myself.

I came to the forums to find some guides for quests or what have you, and had a lot of the game ruined for me through topic titles, so I decided since I was sort of spoiled anyway, I might as well go whole-hog.

That's what I thought too, so it was quite the surprise. The jaw dropping might have lasted longer if my mother hadn't walked into the room at that point, *cue awkward explanation*

Thank you! And I've started writing about her, although it's mostly been about her and Bethany. If I start writing about her and Anders I will never stop. Ever.
