Ah, that Chantry sister in Lowtown in Act I.
Have you guys seen her conversations with the urchin on the street? In one she orders him to go home, and he refuses because his father's drunk and his mother has "company". In another she tells him that the Maker will know if he misbehaves, and he asks if He always knows.
Then she walks up the street and a beggar asks, "A coin, messere?"
Her response? "I am but a simple servant of the Maker, serah," before walking on.

Tough love must be part of the vaunted Chantry kindness and charity I've heard so much about.
Ah, but the conversation with the prostitute makes it so much better.


And she passes by the entrance to the Alienage without a second thought. Yeah, that's right, the elves don't need you coming around in your gold-embroidered robes to ask for Chantry donations. Just keep walking, lady.
(yes, I'm stalking her. shut up)
