I rivalmanced Fenris and it was done and done. Seriously, his personal quest can be done almost immediately after Act 2 starts and it's easy to have your relationship nealy maxed on either end to instigate the love scenes. Then he effectively ends it no matter what and then...Anders. I don't think I could do it w. a character who is Friendly with Fenris, though. Rivaled Fenris is such a dickweed, though, so I don't feel guilty at all.

Is there a video anywhere? I never have the heart to break up with a character, even if I reload. Even after I reload, I feel like somehow they will know I did it. The only time I was able to break up with Garrus was with my really mean Shepard and I had to reload instantly and be nice to him. That wasn't even during the romance scene. I couldn't imagine ending it with someone during the romance scene.

This was after he gave you repeated warnings about what he was. If you weren't put off by that but put off by him asking him to move in...
