Forget separating Anders from Justice. In my game, I'm having enough trouble separating Anders from Varric. At least Hawke is amused.

Do you have a mod that changes your families hair color based on yours?

Actually I use several, depending on my Hawke's hair color. Since they're all override erfs, you just put the one you want in your override and change them if you switch to a character with a different hair color.

Blonde Family For All Presets when I have a blonde Hawke.

I have another one for red-haired Hawkes, but I can't find where I got it.

Would you hate me if I said Bethany should never ever be a blonde?  Yes?  Then I won't tell you.

There are worse thing being done to Bethany than making her blonde. Namely, like, all of the alternate family designs. Changing her colouring to match your Hawke = okay in my books over some of the BioWare created versions xD

I'm not fussed. I don't much like Bethany at all (I prefer Carver), but this Hawke is a warrior, so I'm stuck with Bethany.

Everybody gets twitchy about their own hang-ups. Some people don't like the Hawke siblings with other hair colors. Others don't like Aveline's jaw (I think she's beautiful the way she is, but what do I know?). My pet peeve is mismatches. I love Anders' face, but I can't stand the fact that he has blond hair and black eyebrows and stubble. Since he has got to stay blond (at least in my book), I use a mod to give him blond stubble. Another mismatch I can't stand is when one sibling has blond or red hair and the others have pitch black hair. Hawke looks too adopted.

I know what my solution was to the siblings... all my Hawkette's dye their hair. Which explains why some of them changed their hair in style and colour over the years... cause they're that vain. Or I am *grin*

As far as I'm concerned if any characters do not have an unassailable canon appearance it's Bethany, Carver, Leandra, and Gamlen.

Because the game itself includes multiple versions of each of them, with the express purpose of making them look more like Hawke.

Therefore, if mods allow those characters to meet that goal more successfully than the included versions, they are doing the same job better.

I don't mind family mods, mostly because of what Shorts said.

Still, I'd rather make my Hawke look more like the family than change them to look more like my Hawke because I actually like how the default family looks. BLACK HAIR FOREVER

Anders is obviously bleaching his hair.

See I don't have a problem with Anders light hair/dark facial hair because my brother is an ash blond with black eyebrows and dark brown ... I'd say beard but really at this point it's just chin stubble, and my dad is a platinum blonde with an auburn beard (or it was before it went grey). So I buy Anders as is.

As for siblings: my brother, sister and I are full siblings, but my sister has straight chestnut brown hair, I have what qualifies as "medium golden brown" curly hair and my brother has slightly wavy ash blond hair.

So I buy one blond and two with black hair. It's close enough to what my family has.
