Someone on the Fenris thread insinuated I was a straight guy. The horror. It made me feel like this:

I think it was joke because I said that Femris is hotter than Fenris, but EVEN IN JEST it is the worst thing I have ever been called D':

I'd have liked if every character remained consistent in his/her writing, but the picture is surely hilarious

So I am slow, but I willing to bet that DA3 in in Orlais. Bhodan was talking about heading there in act three in a cutsceen. We all know they will be in the third game.

I'm really, really torn on this. On one hand... Orlesians! Val Royeaux, the jewel of Orlais! Shoes! Hair! Feathers! Balls and bards, politics and religion, intrigue and illicit affairs! Playing a assassin courtesan, or an exiled member of nobility!
On the other hand... Orlesians. So far the only voice that hasn't driven me crazy is Stroud/Riordan. Even Leliana, with her breathless lisping, started grating on me pretty fast. Unless they find a way for the majority of NPCs to be pleasant to listen to, I'd be less than excited about spending 50 hours in their company.
Of course, just because Bodahn and Sandal are going somewhere doesn't mean we'll follow. People were convinced Wade and Herren would show up in Kirkwall, and that didn't happen, and our two friendly dwarves weren't in Amaranthine.
I'm still hoping for a game set in Antiva or Nevarra, myself.

^^ re Bolded. Who's to say they don't get waylaid by some horrible misfortune on the way? Trouble seems to follow them a little too closely.
And I want to know where 'home' is for Sandal... because that kid is creeeeeeepy.

I'm kind of wondering if Sandal is actually a half-dwarf. He's noticeably larger than other dwarves, relatively hairless, and unusually skilled at working with lyrium. I'm not sure if the mages in the Circle would have cared, noticed or brought it up, but the boy does make me curious.

It's been mentioned before, but I still wonder if Sandal had any part in helping Anders make the bomb. I don't think he helped directly, but Bodahn does mention that Anders is very interested in his enchantments. Considering the size and seemingly magical quality of the blast (it didn't look like just a gunpowder explosion), I wouldn't be surprised if Anders found a way to add a bit of Sandal's "boom" into the mix.

I think you're probably right. However, Anders certainly has a bit of knowledge about explosives from DA:A (helping the dwarf dude with the lyrium sand etc) but I imagine that Sandal could refine and improve anything Anders could have cobbled together. I can't see the bomb/stuff/thing/ being terribly large if he managed to get it into the chantry - but then it must have been large enough to warrant a distraction. Something the size of a crate?

I think he just says there is one thing left and that he needs you to distract the Grand Cleric. So, if Hawke thinks he still needs ingredients it can sort of be construed that he's snatching something from the Chantry. If the bomb was small enough to hide somewhere on his person, that would help him pull off that particular lie.
Of course it's still hard for me to imagine because even the first time I played and was unspoiled I figured he was planting something to assassinate Elthina. Little did I know it was bigger than that.

*sigh*
i just finished offered and lost. i told elthina 'someone' was using her name to validate qunari hate crimes, and the grand cleric being who she is believed it would sort itself out (she knew her signature was being faked and did nothing). so of course hawke ends up murdering 50 mobbing rebels.
and without metagaming (!) a whole bunch more will be killed when the qunari attack
as burke said; the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. i'm sure it's been quoted before, but hey, nm.
edit; idiot human psychology means its easier to imagine the heartbreak caused by a few deaths rather than hundreds. i place the blame squarely on elthina for the mass murder i had to commit. (forget varnell; no one will mourn him!) the stupid woman knew a crime had taken place and should have at least dealt with that. GRRRR!!!
