Of course, just because Bodahn and Sandal are going somewhere doesn't mean we'll follow. People were convinced Wade and Herren would show up in Kirkwall, and that didn't happen, and our two friendly dwarves weren't in Amaranthine.

I'm still hoping for a game set in Antiva or Nevarra, myself.

I don't think the entire game would be set in Orlais just for that reason with the accents. But I do think something big will happen at some point there.

I am hopeing that it would take place in the Anderfels, I heard that are the Germans of Thedas.  I want to hear how well they would pull of the accent; also it would make me swoon and my grandmother giggle.

I wonder if that was intentional.

LOL this girl on DA got really upset I said Fenris reminded me of a Final Fantasy character thus why I was almost instantly turned off. She said he looked like the other elves, except he is more muscular and had white hair(so he doesn't?) and then proceeded to tell me basically my opinion doesn't matter, as now there is more Fenris for his fangirls.

All I could think is "And more smoldering Anders for us on the Anders thread." honestly I swear Fenris was put into the game to attract a bigger group of people. Hence why you don't have to pick him up.

I love Fenris' white hair. Then again I'm a FF fangirl. That said I don't think Fenris looks like one. He's not nearly androgynous enough .

One of the most interesting, and flaming, conversation in the Fenris' thread happened when someone asked what function did he serve in the game. At best, I think someone answered he was a sort of a "info dump" character about Tevinter, a walking small encyclopedia offering the anti-mage point of view.
I don't dislike Fenris, at all, but I have to admit that it is true. It was nice to have finally an elf going around with a massive sword (even though he walks a bit funny ), but really, he was a bit of an eyecandy to appeal a certain audience. Which is perfectly fine, this is business. I like him too after all. 

Now that I think about it though, two LI are completely missable. 
I still think they kinda wanted you to end up with Anders, the ultimate romance of DA2! xD

Like I told that was my first impression, I am slightly bias as I have known to many girls who loved those games to much and yapped my ear off, and girls who fawned over men with unnatrual hair color  that was passed as natural for them(WTF?) also in anime I have noticed white hair seems to make you a badass almost instanly.  don't get me wrong I love anime too(I swoon over Vampire hunter D)After i heard about his tattoos I was more opened to believe his hair changed with the branding.

Don't get me started, I was shocked when I analized that almost in every anime or videogame there was a character with white hair, if not the protagonist then some shady misterious cool guy, which might be the enemy or not. 
It's not just anime really as of now, think of Dante in Devil May Cry...badassery all around ,white hair xD

Hehehe well there's nothing to get upset about! Apparently the new elf design was meant to be similar to anime charcters (Except for the eyes I don't know what the devs were thinking tho) And Fenris is handsome and attractive in his own way, I'm glad we've got variety even if I go with blond rougishly handsome revolutionaries myself  
 Romancing Fenris from RP point of view breaks my brain a bit, but I have now succesfully bedded him before Anders and got rewarded with the smoldering "I'm sorry he hurt you, but I can't be sorry it led you to me" line so it was toootally worth it

My issue with saying something looks anime is that..a lot of styles fall under anime.

Various styles are anime. Cowboy Bebop and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo do not look the same. It's like saying cartoon. There's plenty of cartoons that have normal looking characters (Ben 10s humans to me look normal, Static Shock and the like). There's cartoons where people don't look very humanoid at all, and so on. 

Not to mention that's almost always used an some sort of insult (not saying you are but that's usually the usage). 

As for Fenris. I like him. Its nice to have someone that's not completely tied to the plot but doesn't feel completely contrived (see I didn't mind Zevran not having a tie to the plot, I just had an issue with his introduction. I couldn't find any decent reasoning for my characters to spare him. (Yes I know it can be justified but for my PCs it made no sense). 

Does help that I wasn't overly fond of the plot in DA2 while I adored the plot in DAO. So I switch positions on how much involvement I'd want my companions to have on the plot.

I'm the same, in fact I'm a bit of a gaming newbie in that the DA games are the only ones I've played - I'm about to give the Mass Effect games a try - so I don't have any issues with his looks. I can see why his looks might grate but for me (with my newbie-ishness taken into account) I think he's quite well animated/designed (a little too well, if that makes sense). I've romanced him once and it was perfectly pleasant... it just wasn't on the same level as Anders's romance, which I found much more engaging and doubt I will complete another playthrough without pairing off with him. Smoldering apostate for the win!

I feel like I'm trolling the game.  It was all epic and dramatic and heartbreaking with my canon FemHawke.

Now Jamie Shepard-Hawke is running around thumbing his nose at everything and being a general ****.  He doesn't have a Garrus to be his best alien bro, but he and Varric just met, and I can sense the beginnings of epic guy love.
