You got it because you made Anora queen, so she grants the boon. The flags sets with Anora.

If Alistair grants the boon, the flag doesn't get set. It's like you never even asked for it.

Guess I got a little late with the topic about the inaccuracies with the epilogues. Yes well I've got interested in reading the different Ages. And I got confused as well with the timeline. I cannot seem to connect how Anders went to Kirkwall fast enough after the events in Awakening. Not only that, the story about Anders and Justice merging got me thinking too. When exactly did that happen? I have so many questions but I'll save that some other time.

Edit: I don't know if this is already posted but I hope you guys don't mind it's just too cute

For some reason personally in my head I say that Anders went to Kirkwall two years and six months later after the Blight. I know that is silly but that is really how I need to see it or else my brain will explode from confusion.

sigh I want my desktop and tablet back now to draw more Anders/Hawke. I drew a cute Anders/Cousland after Awakenings but I need to draw....

I never have Hawke flirt with Anders at that point just because I really love it that if you're just nice to him he flirts first

I triied posting this in the support forums but since this is anders related, maybe you guys can help me out??
In act 2 I picked up anders gift (the amulet) however, because I wanted rivalry with him, and it kept giving him a big friendship boost, I opted not to give it to him. I'm now in act three, the quest is still there but I am unable to trigger it and or questioning beliefes (i'm pretty sure it's not triggering because of the amulet quest) even thoguht i'm at 100% with him. I also noticed he hasn't changed his outfit yet. What should I do? Can I sell the amulet or something? Or just deal with it being there and never finish my rivalry with anders?

You have to make his rival points to 100% first before giving him the amulet. That way his meter will not add up to friendship points. That is what I did to my playthrough.

In your case, maybe his meter is not yet 100% which is why he still gets friendship points. Also, you get the new outfit after you complete the Justice quest.

Now about that questioning beliefs, have you already done the act 2 questioning beliefs? If so, you'll see him writing a manifesto if you're in rivalry. If you didn't trigger that yet, then I'm not sure if you can trigger the act 3 one since I always managed to trigger all of it in my playthroughs

Correction: Give him the amulet and just let him have that friendship points. In order to remedy it, increase again his rivalry points to make it 100% [Sorry I forgot it will still increase in friendship points in my playthrough though I'm not sure if it is already at 100% if it will still increase though so just take that small friendship points and make him mad again with you to get those friendship points back to rivalry]

Just to note, the amulet not giving the proper modifier during rivalry is slated to be fixed in 1.03. Also, if you're on the PC, I'm not sure but you may be able to force his questioning beliefs by enabling the console and keying in runscript zz_and_debug.

Also when I click on him when he's in my party he always says the line about thanking me for gathering his bomb ingredients and that he needs to speak to me in private, even though I completed Justice ages ago.

Is he in a romance? You should be able to trigger the amulet quest at the manor in that case. If not, try running the console. That's how I got Merrill's quests to trigger properly before 1.02.

Hmmm...that is a problem. I'm not sure if it is bugged of what but if you can try going back to your last save in Act 2 maybe that could solve the problem.

Still...that is odd. But you could try highcastle's suggestion by using the console.

Is he in a romance? You should be able to trigger the amulet quest at the manor in that case. If not, try running the console. That's how I got Merrill's quests to trigger properly before 1.02.

Nope, he's not. But it wont trigger at his base. Sorry but what does running the consol mean?
