Yes I'm not really a big fan of morphs - the only thing I changed in Origins were the bodies.
I must admit I did think Gascard was quite cute but not enough to swap heads with Anders. No. Wrong.

Well my first clue was that people are required to kneel before you hug them. But I'm only 5' 0.25" (Yes the quarter counts!), so I think I can skip that requirement.
I think I'm probably shorter than most elves in DA2.

Personally I don't think Anders looks much different to Awakenings. The only real differences are that he's skinnier (GW appetite, on the run, etc etc). DA:2 just looks like it's done in high def, whereas Awakenings was all soft focus.

I'm not really seeing that tbh, the eyes look the same to me. As for the pouting, I don't see it but it may just be he was more carefree and pleasure seeking in awakenings. I could imagine a touch of spirit possession could knock a pout out of a man.

Love Ser Pouts a lot, but I don't remember him having a wobble like that in DAA though. I might have had to bite his bottom lip if he did!

If anything I'd say they softened up his features, he still has a pretty sharp face in DA2, but it's not quite as noticeable unless you look at him at certain angles. Also his chin is narrower and his nose is... pointier?
Regardless, I'm so in love with the DA2 version of Anders anyway.

He's pouting more than ever, that tortured appealing look, makes me want
to put him on my lap and pet him. I think merging with Justice made him
melancholic, always worrying about bringing justice to the mages cause.
I missed his sense of humour at first, it's good when it appears once
in a while now.
He is skinner in Awakening, I can't help but thinking
he seems younger there, but it's probably just my eyes, since so many
disagree. Anyway, I like both versions.

The basic structure looks the same (I imagine they must have based the DA2 faces on imported wireframe models from DA1) but the textures are different. The main difference with Anders (aside from the new hairstyle and earring removal) is the different eyebrows. The brows and stubble are darker but that aside, the brow shape is a bit different - they are a bit thinner and less arched.
