How old IS Hawke? Bethany and Carver are 18 at the beginning, 25 at the end.

Beth and Carver were Hawke's younger siblings. I'm not sure how much older he/she was though.

How are they 25 if it's supposed to span 10 years?

I'm saying she's 5 years older than the twins. At least. Varric is clearly considering Beth/Carver a kid still, but not Hawke. And it wouldn't be too creepy to be with Anders. (Who is how old?)

Hawke is over 18 but under 25, I'd say. Leandra or Gamlen definitely mention that Leandra ran away with Malcolm Hawke "25 years ago" during Act 1, so Hawke couldn't be older than that. (I think it was 25 years, anyway.)

Goodbye! I need to try an mHawkexAnders playthrough!
I feel like I'm missing content here only romancing as a female. Seriously no context for Karl. My macho Hawke loves men that like kitties.
They can run off and, instead of kids, raise an army of kittens to fight in the war. They'll all have armor (except for the mage kittens who will wear little robes and ugly hats). Ser Pounce will command them.

I think the "creepiness" of large age gaps is subjective. I personally like older men. Old enough to be my father? No. But I don't think Anders is THAT much older than Hawke. Maybe five or six years? That's not that huge a difference, personally.

Anyway, I was playing last night as an mHawke romancing Anders. Why is it that the dudes get an awesome romance and the moment my Lady Hawke flirts she gets the all angsty-pants from him?
It's like Bioware sent out a warning to the fangirls that they will cry pixel tears by the end but seriously!! The male romance is so much better....I wanted my Lady Hawke to experience that, not the "stay away.....please...I will hurt you~". I liked that you get to see a much more light hearted Anders, a la Awakenings for a slight moment.

Now I'm excited because I'm playing mHawke and working on the romancing there. :: cackle ::

Yeah, I'd say he's 6 or 7 years older. Maybe around 29 or 30, while to me Hawke is 23.
It makes his "Don't threaten me, little girl" comment much more interesting, IMO. But I found that strangely titillating anyway.
