I am thinking about- if J became Vengeance (demon) then can we save Anders to kill V in Fade?
Can developer give me the answer?
While no one's given absolute confirmation of this, it's my personal theory that this wouldn't work. Anders and Justice are both on this side of the Veil and Justice already bodily possesses Anders. It's not like Origins where Connor was just being controlled through the Fade without the demon actually inhabiting him.
Also, I don't even think Justice
should be killed. For one, I'm pretty sure it would damage Anders in a big way. He says they're intertwined, that he doesn't know which of his thoughts are his own and which are Justice's. Destroying Justice could easily destroy Anders, leaving him little more than a husk. Also, there's this tendency to hold Justice responsible for all the bad things Anders does, as though this absolves him of any responsibility. Justice is not Anders' "bad" alter-ego. Even on the rivalry path, where Justice takes over and Anders has black outs, Anders remains aware of the bomb in the Chantry. This means Justice wasn't the one who planted it; Anders was.
We can debate whether or not Anders would have jenga-ed the Chantry without Justice's influence all we want. I'm sure it played a large role in giving him the courage to make that statement. But it was still Anders who chose to do it, Anders who actually planted the bomb, and Anders who detonated it while talking with Orsino and Meredith. Blaming Justice and trying to remove him seems a little like Meredith calling for the Circle to be annulled because a random, non-affiliated mage blew up the Chantry. In this case, Justice bears a bit more responsibility than the Circle mages, but he's still not the sole contributing factor here.
Anders is.
I think there's a tendency to hold Justice responsible for every bad thing Anders does because we like Anders as a character and it makes us uncomfortable to consider what he did. But blaming Justice is taking the easy way out. It's saying Anders only did this because he was possessed, and not because he as a person had the capability for such actions. And I just think that's not the case. DAA Anders was deeply troubled by the Circle, but didn't think he could do anything about it. Taking in Justice seemed to give him the confidence or perhaps the will to take a stand. And that was another decision Anders made.
Sorry if I'm get ranty. I've been thinking about this issue lately, especially since my own gut reaction after the jenga was also to blame Justice and wish for an exorcism. It's only as I've replayed both Origins and DA2 that I've started to realize things are more complicated than that.
