I think it's obvious that he cared way less about Namaya's fugitude than we do...

It actually makes sense that as an apostate, Anders would have alot of sex and not care about looks.

To be free and open would make those sexual encounters much more fun than what he experienced in the Circle.

Y'know... Anders was pretty open about the high level of promiscuity his past... Do you guys think there are any little anders and anderettes running about?

The next DLC will take place between Acts 2 and 3 and be about Namaya showing up looking for child support money.

And when people discover he actually slept with Namaya...this will be their reaction....

Varric looks as though he'd do Namaya himself. And Sebastian obviously has a shameboner there. He's visualising hot Anders/Namaya action.

Michael Hawke thinks if he closes his eyes it will go away.  Anders is remembering that night.  Fenris is terrified he spawned and Seb, as stated before....shameboner.

Now imagine what Namaya actually looks like in the new style. Aw yeah. <__>

Speaking of the blue glowy thing, those are supposed to be cracks, right? The short story mentioned some guy saying that his skin cracked open and it looked like he was on fire inside. It would be way more interesting if they were cracks in his skin (accurate portrayal hindered by engine limitations and the fact that the only skin showing is his hands and face/neck), and maybe they show up on his clothes in the game because they glow through?

I think the effect they were going for was "mortal vessel not enough to contain the power of Justice", which I thought was a neat idea. Although the whole cracks appearing along his clothes are umm... magic?

It is his skin and I just assumed we saw it on his clothes becuase it was glowing through, I mean that is some bright light there.  It makes me feel better.

Also I think Anders would love Hawke in this dress!  It won't let me show the pic here :crying:

I think my Hawke would probably only wear that dress if she was dead and thus had no choice in the matter. I kinda picture her as only wearing the "at home" dress when she's expecting company, and otherwise roaming around her house in breeches and a tunic or loose shirt. She's stubbornly a peasant and a tomboy.

As for Anders, he probably thinks Hawke could wear a garbage bag and be fan...

Ok no wait. I just had an image of M!Hawke wearing that dress. Festooned indeed.

Very nice but I think my Danny would be more likely to wear this one as he is absolutely fabulous:

Makes me wish I could draw haha. My mom couldn't get why I couldn't quit laughing when we were out shopping and I saw that dress. All I could see was Danny wearing it and being the prettiest boy at the ball

I buy dresses from the site I linked sadly now when I look around on there all I can think of is "Oh Damian(male Hawke for Anders) would look cute in that!"

This thread has forever ruined me

Morning all!
Anders in a frilly dress...? hmmmmmmmmm, not for me, unless f!Hawke x Anders are doing some very serious bedroom roleplay. But then my f!Hawke basically lives in leather so she's probably up for that. Posted Image

And back to the accent for a moment, I moved to Lancashire (North West England) about 9 years ago, after living in Yorkshire for a year (North East England), and was originally from Hampshire (South Coast). My southern accent disappeared much faster in Yorkshire than it has in Lancashire. It's only in the last year that I've started picking up the long vowel sounds (basically the Ferelden accent, and Greg Ellis's Anders - "Destructive forces of nature coming up" is pretty much a pure Wigan accent). But I still inhabit this weird non-regional accent most of the time. Unless I speak to my parents/ go back down South. Suddenly I'm back to sounding like a cockney farmer. Posted Image Which makes my very northern hubby laugh, a lot.

Back to the point of the ramble... I could totally see Anders having kept hold of his/ his parents accent until he started to mix with a lot of other kids. I don't think it would be a stretch either to think that his family would have settled in a village with a lot of other people originally from the Anderfells, refugees tend to stick together for familiarity and security. So yeah, I imagine the accent was a large reason for the name. That I don't imagine him being very talkative initially so the kids probably called him that because he didn't really give out his name.

why would she need to take off the leathers? they are multi-purpose; excellent armour for the crafty rogue who needs to dodge, bend and twizzle and an excellent outfit for the sexy rogue who needs to dodge, bend and twizzle.

i've never moved far from home - but every regional place does have it's own version of the regional burr. farmurrr, tra'urrrr, my cornish favourite; me flowurrr          (farmer ,tractor and my flower)

much as i like the theories of his past i think he was probably too popular to get picked on. he was always very likable, and as he said to fenris "i'm charming." It is why he didn't get tranq'd; because Irving couldn't see him going to the dark side

True, I'm just thinking of that initial trauma of being torn away from his mother. In my head I see him making his first escape attempt very early on, and it's after being brought back that he starts playing the clown. But that first week or so... I reckon he'd retreat into himself.
Who said anything about taking the leathers off....? Posted Image

Edit - Just found this and gigglesnorted at my desk!

Hehehe... Posted Image F!Hawke wears the pants... in more ways than one.

I don't know if my brain would break if I saw Anders in trousers now though, it was very *very* weird in DAA because he had the bulky male body model. But still cute to strip him down... Posted Image
