And I take it that I'm the only one that's amused by the reused maps? I find them really funny - I love being all like 'oh I can there, it's on the map, dammit why is this door locked?!' It's so much more realistic in a way, as if the maps that Hawke has got are hopelessly out of date. And I love stumbling across the little bits that aren't mapped at all. It just really makes me smile.
The only thing I really missed was the interaction with the LI's, gutted I have to use science run throughs to get all of the info, but if BW knew that they were going to do DLC which covered inbetween years I'd hope that would include more LI stuff. It would make sense to me at least for the time period to be that final jump after the Arishok, as if you have an LI it's the final one at that point. (Unless I'm totally wrong, I'm usually too buried in Anders feathery shoulders at that point).
I did like the way your 'tone' affected the choices available to you in dialogue - rather than having to unlock 'persuasion' or 'paragon/renegate' levels. And I liked that your tone could change. The only thing that was a bit of a shame to me was that the flirt options were so clearly labelled. I loved in DAO that I was chatting along with Alistair being all nice and good girly and suddenly he presented me with a rose - I totally blushed.
Unlike Anders where the kiss was still a suprise, and it was hot, but I knew that I'd been actively flirting with him.
Edit for Top - Still one of my fave DA2 pics.
