I know there are some that'll be upset... I love Anders most, but I did do a PT with Fenris in rivalmance which I thought was rather hot, so I like 'em both...

aww 6:30 AM is when I'll be leaving for work again ><  and as far as fanfic goes I've started reading What is Justice? Good stuff. also, this was me my first DA runthrough

Also that was my second playthrough more then my first.  First playthrough I was all over Anders like white on rice.  I waited to long for sexy times with him.  Now I just need sexy times with Nate!!

Mmm Nate. And Cullen. I hope they are both LI's in DA3 haha. Just..no extra passengers this time. Though actually posessed Cullen might be amusing. Justice hops bodies for great irony!

Anyone still looking for fic, I'm working on one called Hindsight. It's a postgame fic with Anders and FMageHawke, and currently has 9 chapters (chapter 10 should be up tonight):

As she attempts to heal her desperately wounded brother, Ariadne Hawke casts a spell with unknown consequences. Trapped in the Fade, Anders must relive the love of his life. Faced with her version of the events, he begins to question his choices and to understand the woman he betrayed. With the help of his mysterious guide, he must confront his demons if he is to survive. Meanwhile, stuck in a remote cave, Hawke must face some demons of her own.

Mmmmm Nathaniel ... on the quest to find him. When he finishes off the darkspawn and turns back toward your party... his hair moves like straight hair would in RL... I practically swooned right there. That would be nice for him to return in DA3 as a LI, as usual we'll need an archer anyway...
My first PT, I didn't even notice anyone else beside Anders was available, well except Isabella of course, so I was all over him I reacted exactly like this comic.

If not bugged, Anders rivalmance would make more sense than Fenris.

With Fenris: You're a mage, a **** and I hate you. I'm going to act like your little brother now, argue with you and then have broody sex with you, and then I'm going to go, and come back 3 years later, and I'm going to tell you, I love you. Wait, what? Not to mention "wee slavery!" and/or "wee blood magic!" Hawke.

Lately I tried friendmance Fenris. The "I wanted to be happy for a while" when he left, made me feel guilty, for having Hawke using him, to run away from rivalmanced Anders. Romance with Fenris made purfect sense this time. Still taken off by this 3 years gap, but maybe I stop being biased towards it.

I never finish long fanfics... ever. It makes me feel wretched, especially when I get comments months later asking me to finish. So I try to just do one shots if I can. My problem currently is that every time I try to write some Anders fiction, it just goes on and on. I can't seem to find a story that will stay a one shot for that man.

If we're self-promoting (and it appears some of us are) then I humbly request you all stop by my fics, I love feedback: The Why : a novelization of DAII. The Champion and her actions are infamous. But why did she do what she did? The perspective and motivations of Briar Hawke.
and Musings: (mostly) stream-of-consciousness, the thoughts and memories of Briar Hawke.

I also highly recommend Pieced Together by Miri1984, Maps & Legends by SurelyForth and Leap by LupusYonderGirl(BSN)/Amhran Comhrac(FF.net).

As a warning, none of the fics I mentioned are finished. Musings and Pieced together are one-shots, the rest are novelizations. Also, all of these are f!Hawke/Anders. Maps & Legends and mine are non-mage Hawkes, Pieced Together and Leap are mage Hawkes.

I second (or whatever the number is at now) the recommendation for Elle's Held Together. It's like the espresso of fanfic, small and hits bloody hard.

I've been bad and haven't read as many of people's fics as I meant to. However, I can definitely second (third?) the recommendations for Miri and Surely's fics. They're really good.

Surely's fic is great. Also LupusYonderGirl's - but that basically goes without saying. Sable Rhapsody's stuff (KS Crusader on FF) is also v much worth keeping up with.

Ahahaha morning everyone ^^ How awesome it is to wake up to some Gone Batty and fic recommendations ^^ 

Also, this was my first day of DA2 too ^ I actually ran to my housemate bestie who doesn't know anything about DA to tell her about Fenris and Anders and whine that I couldn't choose! And then Fenris went: I hate mages. And that was that I get enough of that **** from my rl boyf. 

There's definitely lots of well written fics out there - more than I expected to be honest - I'm super sensitive to melodramatic stuff or super OOC drama for the sake of drama things, and like Elle said there's some prompts in the kink that are just like ...O.O why? 

The whole Fenders thing breaks my brain a bit, but I recently discovered it can work as long as it's AU where Hawke hasn't met either of them or doesn't exist. To be more specific there's one story on the meme in which Anders makes it to Tevinter (and no Justice) and gets sold to Danarius who is sick and needs a powerful healer. From there an unlikely bromance blossoms between Fenris and Anders and so on Not even sure there will be ROmance in it tho. But you know, if those two could become friends it'd be the best pairing ever - Fenris can protect squishy Anders, and Anders can heal and soothe Fenris' broodiness. I blame The Eagle for my sudden need for unlikely bromance.

He basically says he's going to commit suicide after it all ends. He looks like he doesn't know what's he doing anymore. With this Hawke, his "Goodbye, Hawke. Your'e the best friend I ever had" makes it a history of the most ****ed up friendship ever.
Damm you, Anders you're so dramatic, broken and utterly unfixable it make me sick, and I still like you... probably because, not despite.
Ok, enough with the depressing stuff. I need kittens.
