I've only ever gotten the half-burned bits in the fireplace. BTW, how do you get the dog conversation to trigger? The one where he tells the dog he's a cat person? Does it have to be in act II? Do you just come home and find him there? Does it have to be before the romance is triggered?

He did say if he managed to convince no one else he'd at least have Rivalry Hawke on his side at the end.

I got the Dog conversation in Act 3. I just came home and found Anders standing in front of Dog like some of the other companions will do sometimes.

@Miri: The only times I've gotten the dog convo has been in Gamlen's house Act 1.

@Ryzaki: That was my bittersweet taste of their rival-mance. He convinced me to an extent at the end but I think I did it for my sake more than his.

I think in Act 3 when he finally moves in, you can trigger cutscenes with him and dog. I usually would leave the estate and do some quests then come back to trigger more scenes between them.

I'm really glad I don't remember Vaughan's voice. >_< I hate him more than any other Dragon Age character. Probably more than any videogame character (unless I'm forgetting someone). But I heard MaleHake's voice in the intro, and I thought it was good.

Vaughn is forcing it, yeah, it's mostly there are a lot more moments as a DoucheHawke that I'm like "Ah, yes, I can hear it now. Man, eff that guy."


EDIT: I should probably stress that I really like ManHawke's voice on the whole. I may like him better than LadyHawke, although that might be due to the fact that I had a total crush on my first ManHawke. He was totally hot. <3 DoucheHawke is also hot, but ... well,  he's a douche.

From what I've noticed the things from Act 2 are slightly different from Act 3. Also depends after a while during the day or night. It's pretty random, but I've found Anders manifesto everywhere in the house. If there was a toilet I'd find it as reading material there too lol

Wow this thread moves quickly! I am trying to stay up with it.

I just watched a video on youtube where the female Hawke broke up with Anders before the final battle and says she won't go with him. I'm seriously thinking about doing this one and (WISHFUL THINKING) hoping for something later down the road (please, please Bioware)...like a don't know what you got until it's gone scenario. Doubt it with Justice, but is a nice thought at least. She says she realizes she isn't the most important thing in his life. He says he wishes he had "no greater loyalties" than her. Probably a bit selfish on my part but considering what all has happened some time apart might do them good. But oh will my fem Hawke be in agony. Will need some good break-up songs...LOL.

lmao. I played a douche Hawke at first who mellowed out as time went on. He's my main Anders rivalrymance. 

Though I only played the CE origin a handful of times so Ser Bryant is the voice that stuck with me. And Bryant's voice is swoonworthy.  

I prefer him over Lady Hawke too...his voice. <3

I "only" played the CE origin ... <counts on her fingers> three times. One of the times I was even a dude elf, so he only made my Warden attend his Rape Party twice. It WAS the first origin I played, though, so maybe that's why I was so full of the hate. My husband played a dwarf noble first, and he hates Bhelen like I hate Vaughn. Maybe if we had been human nobles first, we'd hate Howe most! (I do hate Howe, mind you. Bastard.)

My husband teases me that Dragon Age turned me into a secret gay man, since all my dude wardens totally wound up with Zevran, no matter how I tried to stick it out with Leliana or Morrigan. He doesn't even know how hard it was not to nom on Anders' face with my first DudeHawke (he wound up rivalmancing with Merril). He still slept with the elf prostitute and Zevran though. He's not made of stone!
