Maybe the DLC will be Anders' quest to regain his lost earring???

Ah but it has Techno Turian! I love that guy...

Why the hell haven't I seen this before? What rock was I living under (oh right, James Joyce's Ulysses...which I should still be reading, but whatevs)? This has officially been the best thing I've seen all day. Gold star, Cal Jones, gold star.

Indeed.I can't stop watching that now, plus I had been wondering who the Turian was since my computer sucks too bad to play ME2 and I'm still trying to pretend I'm good enough at shooters and play ME

Alright, folks. I'm heading out to class. Which is currently outside on a beach. And it looks like rain, so I officially have mixed feelings about this.

Man, every time I see that picture, even knowing Anders is so broken by the experience, I can't help but swoon. It's probably one of my favorite paintings of him.

Yeah... it's why I kept it.  SweetCandyRain did a wonderful job on it.  I hate that she had to take it down.

I love that picture, I think it provokes a lot of different emotions and reactions which is why it's one of my favourites (plus it's just outright beautifully done). Can I ask why did it have to be taken down?

She was accused by a stupid fanart policing blog of tracing someone else's work for a different picture she did. From my understanding, she was harassed on her Devart page and, being quite young and put out by the accusations, she deleted her entire profile there.

I'm definitely glad she's back and making art...she's incredibly talented.

That's a real shame she was harrassed like that, totally understandable that she felt put out.

I've seen quite a lot of her Anders art on DeviantArt, I'm glad to hear that she's still creating lots of awesomeness for all to enjoy Posted Image

Sorry again!  I read through several hundred pages in this thread, but it's just toooooooo long to read it all so I must have missed that.  I <3 you all and am sorry I made anyone upset.

It's all good ^_^  It's unreasonable to expect anyone to read our 1600+ pages of abject insanity, shameboners, and other goodness(badness?).  *kisses everybody*

Hehehe, I remember when I first came here at Easter I had such good intentions... after about 500 pages I gave up and jumped to the end. :P

Awwwwwh, I just like to kick myself that all the meaty debates happen when I'm in bed. <_< Plus it gives me something to read in the office before I decide I should be doing paid work.

LOL, I'll read them, if I find them, but they'll come back around when I want to participate again. :D

It's a lot easier to catch up now than it used to be. I remember waking up in the morning and having to read 30 pages or so of stuff that I missed while I slept. Now I could be gone a whole day and night and only have to read maybe 10 pages max.

It really makes me want to start up a good debate again, but I honestly can't think of anything new. The closest I got was the Andersbeard discussion a bit ago and the occasional picture.

I think I missed most of the juicy stuff early on, so when something that peaks my interest comes up everyone like "Again? We talked about this two weeks ago." Which makes me cry on the inside. You damn popular kids using all the cool topics early :P

In other news I'm listening to Ludovico Einaudi and depressing myself with fanfic and hot chocolate. It's a good way to spend the evening... And trying to ignore my dog as she's tearing around the room trying to kill a plastic pig. :/ I'd planned to play some more DA2 tonight but I've managed to write a massive wall of text instead. And now hubby is home for the next two evenings so I won't get any Anders alone time until Thursday! :((

So, not on topic, but my husband has taken to calling Anders, "Colonel Anders." I think it's his way of trying to make me stop obsessing over Anders by making me imagine him like this:

It's disturbing enough that it just might work. Darn you Colonel Anders and your Ferelden Fried Chicken.

He's missing white chicken feathered pauldrons, fyi.

Bwahaha. Now why didn't I think of that? Probably because I was dying a little inside just making that picture.

On a side note, I am so glad this thread exists. I dont know anyone IRL who is as obsessed about DA and Anders as I. I have friends who live on the other side of the US who have played DA and we chat about it on facebook a bit (they are the ones who got me to play it in the first place), but it's not the same as the obsession we share here. :)

Sigh, though it would ne nice to get some of my local friends addicted.  I am sure many hijinks would ensue....

Now, my husband is somewhat addicted because he has watched me play for hours, but he loathes Anders so we cant talk about it lest we fight...  ;)
