Pro-templar mage was *one of my favorite playthroughs. 

I loved how condescending he was. "see if you could actually be a decent mage you wouldn't have to go to the circle. Toodles! Enjoy!"

I couldn't stop laughing, especially at the "you just weren't good enough" from Hawke, and how he was such a girl about it with "But we talked about this!"

Of course, I reloaded to watch the "Want a sandwich" part again to make up for it.

Hi CalJones! Good to see you here! And thanks for the answer! I'm not going to bother with Merrill, then.

Honestly, I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish this playthrough. Last time I tried it, I got through to the Justice quest and abandoned the PT because I could not bear to watch what the rivalry was doing to Anders. We'll see how it goes this time. I'm better-prepared for the heartache, at least. I can deal with tough love when it has the potential to do some good, like it does with Merrill, but I've yet to convince myself that giving Anders a nervous breakdown accomplishes anything productive.

Edit: Aha! I see! I'll keep a backup save just in case, but it does make sense. With Fenris or Isabela, sleeping with anyone else is enough to kill it forever, but with Anders and Merrill, you have to have somebody else move in.

Edit2: And yeah, kicking Anders out *is* hysterical. I had to try it once, just for kicks. I reloaded right away, but it was still wicked fun.

I love this thread so much, and Anders too.  Due to this thread, I can't take the game seriously anymore, and I laughed throughout the romance scene on my friendmance.  So much cheese. Luckily, it all suited my crazy Marcelyn Hawke.
