Did I make everyone cry? Or at least wibble? Because that's totally my goal with the vast majority of those fics. Anders may be a masochist, but Elle pointed out I'm just bit of a sadist.

Oh you did...no tears were shed, but the mood was just right.
What I absolutely love is those little pearls you write, like this for example: "Or if it had, then he spoke them again, birthed them again. Maybe that was the trick of it. You can't say something once and expect it to last. You remake it, again and again, year after year."

I like to read again your stories because everytime I notice that following the narration I maybe didn't give much attention to phrases like that. And they are beutiful and flawlessly placed in the narration. They hit just the right spot in the right moment.

Edit for ToP, it's been a while...

Alright, I'm blushing lots now and seriously contemplating printing some of these comments to put above my desk for my Debbie Downer days.

Personally, I don't go for slash often, but I couldn't help reading this one. Very well-done and emotionally stirring. Wish I could be that poetic . . .

Do it.  ;)  Every writer needs reassurance.  What we do, we do without a net or an audience.  We don't get feedback till we've hit "publish" and maybe not even then.

Writing sucks, but someone has to do it.

I wasn't sobbing hysterically, but at that last line, tears fell, painting my checks. I can't come up with the right words all the time, that's why I do art...

... I should finish said art... I have 3 unfinished DA2 pictures.. *hangs head shamefully*

edit: Besides the point, your own writing is full of much deep emotion, that must be why you are so much more in touch with them, which is a good thing.

*huggles Elle*

I have a bad habit of reading my fanfic either very early in the morning or very late at night, the upshot of which is I'm too tired to emote properly. And I don't cry very easily. Combined, this means powerful stuff gets a wibble at most.

@ Aerdrie *huggles back*. I needed that.

@ Meggers - ditto on the time scale. There are a couple which I'll read as soon as the alert comes through, and because of time-zones they tend to start coming through as I'm getting ready for bed. And then there are usually a couple when I wake up first thing and am eating brekkies/ drying hair/ reading forums (I multi-task baby!). :D

Edit

YAMI!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!! :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

Alright, I'm getting nosy...
"Tree of Life" is a powerful stuff, soo your reaction was...?

And HI-C fanfiction made me wibble. With the Karl stuff - remembering what happened to them and reading this, IS masochistic.

I love the sound of crying in the morning. Sounds like...justice.

This all makes me sad I've not yet coaxed my muse to DA2 fic. I just can't get Anders to gel as voice yet.

Probably my hugest obstacle in BW game fanfics. I never feel like I do the character's justice.

Ahahahaaaa - Barney

Still crushing harder on Marshall though - it's so messed up. One dream and all my fantasies got realigned. :pinched:

Although I'm crushing pretty hard on the Anders thread at the moment. Too much Awesome.

I get Zev.  I get Alistair.  Hell, I've even got Garrus and Kaidan.  (According to those who've read those stories, at least.)

Anders eludes me.  Slippery apostate.  (Course, I'm having issues with Fenris, too.)

Errr... listening to The Fleet Foxes whilst writing my next chapter and just had "turning myself into a demon" jump out of the lyrics, so gone back to read them properly - and bloody hell. Anders much? Totally thinking post jenga on the run.

I probably shouldn't show you this, then. It'll only add to your confusion.

Edit: You mentioned the Fleet Foxes, I love you! I don't care that you're already married, clearly you must marry me too. It's the only solution!

Getting Zev well enough to write him is a feat I've given up on. Though...I think I get Kaidan. A smidge. At least when it comes to dude Shep. Garrus...not so much.

 those DA2 male LIs like to be sneaky.

@ Highcastle

I'm new here, and I LOVED "Promises, Promises" (thanks to you for writing it and to whoever first mentioned reading it four times and linked it!)

Concerning teary, the same applies to me as dpMeggers, but with one addition: I saw in the a/n at the beginning that you didn't think the story would make much sense to people who hadn't read "You Could Have So Much More," and "A Distant Ray of Light." I have to disagree; I didn't read either of those first, but "Promises, Promises" made perfect sense to me. About the only thing in there that wasn't canon (I think) was the relationship with Nathaniel, and it was easy enough to pick up on that. And I found that, because I had read your warning but had chosen not to heed it, I kept myself sort of mentally hyper-vigilant, looking to be confused, and then wasn't. And for me, that distracted a little from the story itself. Sorry!

Zev ate my brain.  I know the others will never take over like he did.

My problem with Anders fanfiction is that- for some reason- I can't find a good stopping point. Every little drabble I write threatens to turn into an epic. Considering my history of never, ever finishing longer fanfiction, I've vowed not to do the same with anything Anders.

Actually, I seem to have the same problem with Garrus fics. Darn BW guys.
