I went through the same thing you did, minus the Fenders thing and with writing. He's hard to write for, but fun when you can get him right.
And he looks awesome, too!
He's made my main devArt page look hilarious. The way it's laid out currently, Fenris is glaring at Anders and while Wil smirks at him. Something along the lines of: <_<><

Fenris is fun, it's the hair it has to be. I love how you did his nose, so simple and it's recognizably his. Now that Bethany is up... one more and Anders will be moved down, no more glares. So cute.

There are three more parts starting here. Sadly it never got finished. A lot of the people that were around while I was writing that disappeared so I didn't know how many people would still be interested. Oh, that and, as I said, I never finish anything kind of long. That story was only meant to be a couple of posts long too, haha.
Although that was all written on the fly so I can write a bit better than that. Though I have been working on collecting it into a series of blog posts and trying to think of a good ending.
