Err... a couple of others not already mentioned:

dpMegger's Musings - collection of one-shots.
Mandamcmoo's A Rainy Night - one shot.
Mutant0's Forgiveness - one shot, you'll probably want a box of tissues for this one.

Oh duh she was looking for F!Hawke Anders.  I feel like a ******.

LOL.

It's a shame really, I love me my F!Hawke/Anders, but I have to admit, aside from the ones already mentioned the highest quality fic is nearly ALL M!Hawke/Anders. He's just NATURALLY GAY :D

It seems that way.  I think it has to do with his personality really.  It is so dependent, just seems fitting to put him with a nice strong Hawke to protect him from those evil Templars.

I just has this urge to right dominate Anders and submissive Hawke....I need another drink.

*chuckle* See, Saoirse is TOTALLY a dominant Hawke. Just ask her :D. Standard gender roles are so BORING.

Thera lets Anders have his turn, to keep his morale high and all that jazz, but she is a Templar so we all know who really owns the bedroom...Justice

I was thinking submisive Male Hawke...mage M!Hawke...gods this idea won't leave! Where is my rum!!!

I really regret ever mentioning cheese now.

This also seems like a good point to escape and call it a night. Maybe an Anders muse will visit me in the night.

we totally need an anders muse gif to help inspire the writers here. a mini anders running across a desk, or sitting on top of a computer, or holding out a supersized (relatively) pen or something.

Ugh, DA has stolen the word abomination. I love that word, but now I can't write it without thinking, "Grr. Argh."

*sigh*

I'm going to fail my Anders writing challenge at this rate.

I wake up way too early with a headache, take something, figure I'll read a bit wait for meds to kick in, maybe try to go back to sleep later.  Oh look fic links, even better one shots, ooh I haven't read that one.

Augh, finally managed to type out chapter 3 of Act V... Hawke and Anders just won't stop talking! Seriously, what wouldn't I give for the option to shut them up at times. They make any chapter twice as long as it needs to be.

It's not out yet. I just watch the old ones. Over and over again. When Dr Who isn't on, anyway. Or when I'm not writing smutty fanfiction about Anders.

....what?

I have many and varied hobbies. *serious nod*

Hey, I based my Hawke on Chris Eccleston...  and I am so with you on your many and varied interests.

I thought I might post a link to this humor site for amusement's sake. It's actually quite hilarious as to what it has to say about the name 'Anders':

ANDERS
From the Irish root meaning "Lousy Drunk"

As a side note, check out what it has to say about Fenris.

Just thought I'd drop this in here ... there's another Big Bang challenge for Dragon Age fanfic on LJ - this one is ONLY for DA fanfic. (I think it's partly for people who missed the boat on the Bioware Big Bang challenge.) Writer signups end June 11th, and artist sign ups end August 1st.

The minimum for this challenge is 25,000 words.

dragonage-bang.livejournal.com/

I'm still deciding whether I want to sign up or not ... especially with NaNoWriMo later in the year! Very tempted though. :)

i've started a male rogue - who thanks to HC's fic is a redhead. hopefully because he's kinda cute i might be able to finish this playthrough, (why do ugly hawkes make life so much more arduous?). he kinda looks like aden - the harbourmasters assistant. anyway if i do finish i can get all this other dialogue i've been missing

Well, I've done it. It's 100 words beyond Elle's challenge, but at least it's finished.

Embodiment, a f!Hawke/Anders drabble.

Hopefully it's coherent. I kind of just churned it out when I woke up this morning.

Well, the one I was thinking of was the below, taken off LJ many moons ago. (It's the prompt table from 100_Situations, but I snagged it from a friend.) Assign someone a random number, and cross that off when the prompt is filled. Maybe with a 1000 word limit? Just a thought.

Edit: Oh Blarg, I'll try to sort out the formatting, sorry!
Right, done it as a picture for quickness.

Also, the last five are supposed to be writer's choice, but I thought 'song fic' and 'flower' were nice prompts so I left them in.

Really? I thought there was something familiar about him  even the hairdo.
But don't look at me, I only spotted Merrill's Torchwood voice actress after being slapped in the face with the credits.

Don't necessarily agree about the naturally gay though. He's not your typical alpha male, but you could call Alistair naturally gay too if you follow that line of thought. For some reason my Hawke ended up male, but he's not exactly a big strong protective guy who likes to stare into the fire after clubbing their lunch either. Nor is he Sassy Gay. Well, sassy perhaps, just not very gay. What can I say, I like breaking molds ^_^

I have a two-piece complete Anders story atm, now how the hell do I include links again...
Oh right: Link

Might be planning on a bigger one too, a game followup aiming for 15 chapters or so... but that would likely need a beta, since English isn't my first language and I'm a perfectionist. Not so much that I want someone to slap me on the back of the head at every corner style-wise, mind you, then I couldn't piece two words together anymore.

Yami! That's lovely! I forgive you for busitng the word count for the amount of awesome there was there.

@Aerdrie - Sorry, but it's pretty as well as sad so I hope that makes up for it.

@Rattsu - *runs off to read next chapter*

@madzilla84 - Argh... that looks tempting but awfully scary. 25k words? I'm lucky if I can get a chapter to 1k at the moment!

Aw, thanks. <3

I decided I had better just start typing since I'll be busy most of the rest of the day. I was at 149 words until Anders hit. Then it ran right past the limit.

I'm typing up a proper review on ff.net because there are so many cute bits in it. :D

I don't know whether to hound you into writing more, or drawing more. Both are cruel but you know, serves you right for being able to do both. :P

Before I run off to adventure in the forest, I just wanted to put in my support for prompts. I think it would be fun to see what people would come up with for Anders. There certainly are enough writers in this thread to get a bunch done. And well done at that.

Oh man, I really want to do this now....but I just did 110K with ADRL and while TWSS isn't going to be that long (*shakes fist in determination*), I'm not sure how much time I'll have for it. But it sounds fun. And art...

Alright, opinions needed. Should I commit myself to another long-ish fic? And if so, pairing ideas? Because I'm fresh out of plot bunnies once TWSS ends (hence my eager anticipation of DLC to help inspire me again).

Yes, prompts! Totally want to see prompts! (See above about fading inspiration.)

I was wondering are they any good anders and fem hawke fanfics out there ive been trying to find ones that dont bore me half to pixelated death

I've written two interrelated stories here, but if I had to recommend one over the other, it's TJ. I adore Justice as much as Anders, and strangely enough find it easier to write the spirit rather than the man. Plus, I'm a sucker for the angst of Justice damaging things he finds beautiful.
