Yeah, this. While I did quite like Fenris' romance (even though Fenris as a character is confusing), I didn't think much about his relationship with Hawke, nor what they're doing beyond the end of the game. Fenris and his issues are more... self-contained, I dunno. Sure you get a bit more ~romance~ but ultimately I liked what I got from the Anders romance a lot more. Then again I am a sucker for doom and tragedy and all that nonsense.
Like I said, their drama is during the game, Anders' drama is after the game.
I actually think Anders' romance was rather plain compared to Fenris', unless you rivalmance him, I guess. I've only done friendmance. But really, as soon as you guys admit feelings for each other, it's just downhill from there. Fenris struggles with his feelings for a while. But since the game tells this story, it's not as effective as our imagination is with Anders' conflicts (which are mainly justice and the end game). What I meant to say, was that Fenris' romance scenes have deeper meanings to me, and I can see that, whereas Anders are pretty much fluff. But they both are, really.
Uhhh, not saying I like one any more than the other. I hang out here, so you know where my loyalties lie.

Lol, fff. Posted in the wrong thread. Have some Anders;

I think this is probably my favorite fanart of him. Shirtless ones excluded.
