The was a young man named Hawke that one day ran from his
town of Lothering because he was to marry a Hurlock.  He ran so far, and fast he ran over the sea
to Kirkwall.  Kirkwall was a place most
strange.  You see Kirkwall was taken over
by the evil red Templar Meredeath, she was an evil queen and outlawed all
magic.

“What a strange place I have found myself in!” Hawke said to
himself as he wandered the street of the white city. “I have never heard of the
Kirkwall.”

As the sweet and innocent Hawke wondered the streets, he was
stopped by two Templar soldiers.

“Hey there little fella” One said eyeing Hawke in his super
cute baby blue dress that was festooned in ruffles, and simply adorable white
leggings along with these must have mage goth boots.

“Oh hello Ser Templars.” Hawke said meekly.

One grabbed Hawke and pulled him into an alley; Hawke
whimpered. “Why don’t we have some fun?” The Templar holding Hawke said with a
wicked grin.

“Yeah sweet cheeks.” Added the other.

“No…I just want to go home!” Hawke cried.

As one of the Templars when to make his move, a bolt shot
him in the arm and one pierced the other Templars leg.

“Follow me mage!” said a voice from the end of the alley.

Hawke did as it asked and followed the owner of the
voice.  The person was short and had a
beautiful crossbow slung across their back. 
They ran for what seemed like forever, when they stopped they were in
the underbelly of the city.

“I think we lost them.” Huffed Hawke’s savior.

Hawke could now get a better look.  His savior was a most strange dwarf; he had
now beard, and he was smiling.  Also he
had cat ears and a tail.  His chest was
covered in hair, he was manly looking indeed.

“Oh thank you kind dwarf for saving me!” Hawke said.

“You welcome sweet thing. 
You have to be new around here to be walking around above like
that.  Lets get you to Janders.”

“Janders? Who is this Janders?”

“He is the leader of a rebel sect, who plans on taking out
the red Templar Meredeath.  Be warned
though, he has a split personality.”

Alright I will give more for the greater good of the love of Anders:wizard:

Hawke followed the dwarf cat into a building in the
Underbelly, there sitting at a table was the handsome looking mad man
ever!  Hawke felt his sweet little heart
flutter.  Next to him was a rather dower
looking elf with bunny ears.  He was very
cute looking.  There was also a little
elf with mouse ears.  Her voice was so
sweet and innocent.

“Janders! Look what I found!” said the dwarf.

The attractive man looked up from the papers scattered
across his table.  His eyes widened and a
wild smiled crossed his face.

“Varric where did you find this…little thing?” Anders said
almost breathlessly. “Also don’t call me Janders!” His eyes were covered in a
blue light and his voice became deep like thunder.

Hawke jumped a little scared.  Anders realized he scared this oh so cute new
comer and ran over to him, placing his hands over Hawkes.

“Oh my sweet dear forgive me, I didn’t mean to scare
you!  My name is Anders.”

“My name is Hawke.” Hawke was a bright red.

“He was wandering around up top, I don’t think he is from
around here.”

“I’m not I am from Fereldan.” Hawke said his hands still in
Anders.

“Fereldan! Why on earth are you here?” said the mouse like
elf.

“I ran away because I was to marry a Hurlock.” Hawke wept. “Then
when I got here, some mean Templars tried to take advantage of little me.”

Anders eyes glazed over blue again. “We will kill every last
Templar!” He boomed. 

Anders eyes went back to normal. “Sorry I have a spirit of
Justice in me and he can be such a bother.” He chuckled.

(Sadly this is all I can give at the moment as I am off to pretend I care about my sister in law)

That's not even counting the times in combat where his staff disappeared and he was shooting hands from his... hands.
Or the smoke and fire that seem to break out of the scene and into the blacked out part where the subtitles are.

I know this video (not mine) has been posted before, so you might have seen it, but it's the best Anders one I've seen on YouTube.

Edit: And I've seen this (still not mine) multiple times, but it still makes me laugh. Featuring Anders and all the unromanceable characters. And the Illusive Man. And the Techno Turian.

Fanfic's exactly what I did. Reading Surley's Fic has made the two hours wonderful . Everyone should go read it. Nao. Do it!
