This is super cute. I especially love Hawke's expression.
"Boys boys, just make out already. Sheesh."

That is EXACTLY what she's thinking.
Or maybe "We could settle this with lots of wine, naked, in my bedroom!"

Sorry for necroposting, but gotta post when I can, and that means lunch break.
The whole thing is depressing, really. It is possible to enjoy one romance without tearing down another, but some people disagree, apparently.
The quote that really pissed me off was someone said "I thought he was straight in Awakening, but I guess somewhere in between then and DA2 he met Karl and turned gay." I mean, despite the idea that you can just spontaneously be turned gay, they couldn't even get the timeline right. I had to leave the thread before I necromanced it with rage.

Oh, as far as BSN goes, I only lurk in the Garrus thread and post here. However, I ventured outside the forums entirely. I was just searching google to see if I could find that quote. Somehow I ended up finding an article about how the Fenris romance is way better because the Andersmance isn't even really a romance. He's just using Hawke and all that. Nothing new and I didn't get all the way through it because I started mumbling to myself halfway through.
Huh. Spending between three or four years trying to discourage Hawke from being in a relationship with him is either the oddest manipulation tactic I've ever heard, or the cleverest considering how I keep getting suckered right into it

Ah, well. What can you do? Lovely drawing, by the way!
Yeah, I don't entirely understand the argument. He's really doing it wrong if he just wants to use Hawke. Lay on the charm and avoid all mentions of being a horrible, heart breaking abomination. But what can you do? If that's how some people read it, that's their thing, I guess.
Also, thanks.

Maybe they think it's some sort of elaborate reverse psychology? I don't know, I don't really get the argument either, but I suppose the rule is, if it exists, someone on the internet wants to argue about it. Reminds me of this.

It might go back before the Justice quest, if scripts and dialogues are baked into the areas. You might need to go all the way back to the beginning of act 3.ipgd wrote...
I still can't seem to get him to trigger the proper rivalry dialogue or get him to side with the templars with the patch. Has anyone else been able to? Does it require a fresh character or something?
@Yami: adorable drawing!
And those kittens! One looks like nutella Hawkette and the other looks like Anders!
