Before the patch I got the "except for Anders" when I forced his crisis
Oh, Maker, I'm going to start ranting again.
Ok, I promise I won't rant.
But it seems like to me, logically, there is no way that a rivalmanced Anders who sides with the templars is going to survive for very long. Like...weeks, top. Staying in Kirkwall is suicidal and setting out on his own is also suicidal. He's the most wanted man in the world and is emotionally broken on top of that.
(never mind that Hawke is a huge hypocrite for going along with the Right yet
not killing the most dangerous mage in Kirkwall in the process)
Basically, if the game has stucks to its guns and purposefully left him out because he's dead, then I'll have to admit that this ending is awesomely dark. Otherwise, it seems like a copout full of holes (I still don't believe that there was NO WAY that Anders couldn't have alerted Hawke to what Vengeance was planning if it truly was all Vengeance's doing).
