My husband falls in the barely tolerates Anders camp. Although, my apostate love seems to be slowly rubbing off on him. His first PT, he almost never had Anders with him and sent him away at the end of the game. The second time he brought Anders along more often and kept him in his final party. Oh, he also flirted with Anders that time and asked for my advice on how to not hurt Anders' feelings since he was planning on romancing Merrill. I doubt if he'll ever go gay for Anders since he always ends up with Merrill. Still, it was cute to hear my husband grumble about his "friend" doing something stupid. Especially after the number of times he complained about Anders' whining early on, haha.

EDIT: Rainbow kitten for TOP!

Anders just wins everyone - if you play along the compromise path he doesn't come off as particually whiny/crazy either.. which is nice. :D

Ooh I think I'd feel a little bit turned on if my man went gay for Anders... That'll never happen, though.

My little sister falls into the:
Ran away laughing/screaming from Anders.
That also holds true to Fenris.

Ha! That's a mix somewhere between Ser Pouts-a-Lot and... I dunno. Ser Derps-a-Lot?

Aww :( For what it's worth, there are those of us who prefer the more subtley written affections. Sometimes closeness can be even more smoldering than a sex scene. I don't know which of your stories you're experiencing this with, but I've read some of your works and they're beautifully written.

This pic always makes me smile!

 I guess it's supposed to be a sad/disappointed face, because I got it when talking to Meredith in On the Loose-His line is "Presumed guilty?" And I hit the Print Screen button at just the wrong moment.

I love Loved, so don't listen to them.

But, to be on topic:

Of all the reasons to pan a fic, that's probably the silliest. And it says more about the reviewer than it does about the fic, really.

When sex is done well in a fic, it is an entertaining interlude. When it is done badly, it is a source of derision. The more graphic the sex, the more likely it is to fall into the latter category. It should never take the place of the story. Unless it is the story, in which case, throw in a pair of greased nugs and you're back in business.

Right folks, I've finally figured out why A_HOWDZ is so tolerant of our insanity.

He's as mental as the rest of us.

Every time I see some ridiculous video of him, it makes me really wish I was better at video editing. To hear some of these things coming out of Anders' mouth would be priceless.

If you could move on to Fenris after Anders... that "dogbook" one would be priceless.

Not that we would do such at thing.  :innocent:

Haha! He seems like he'd be a real hoot to hang out with. That first one, especially, is golden.

It got a bit rocky around the end of Act 2, when hubby got a little grumpy because he was sure that part would be awesome in an Isabela romance, but Act 3 made up for it. He was playing a Chantry-hating, anti-templar mage, and when the Chantry went KABOOM, well, you should have seen his face. He then became baffled at the game for seeming to suggest that he ought to be angry at Anders and kept looking for the dialogue option that said, "Dude, that was GREAT!" He kept asking why on earth Anders wouldn't have told him what he was doing. When I pointed out that he didn't want Hawke to get in any trouble, he said, "I know. He's so sweet"

It's so nice to read how your husband reacted!
I have tried with little success to introduce my boyfriend to DA. He started Origins, said it was a nice game...but as far as I remember I didn't even complete Ostagar >.< I should insist more probably, I am so curious, knowing him and his beliefs, to know how he would react.
I don't think he would go gay for Anders though...but you never know, Anders could cast a spell on him too!

"I'm marking my territory!"
Somehow I can imagine Anders saying it in Hawke's room...

My husband has no interest in going gay for Anders but he's furious that he can't have Aveline so I can still be a little proud.
