Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread... I'm usually chilling over on the Fenris thread.
I need some emotional support. ;_; My first, unspoiled PT I played warrior Correm Hawke, pictured in my icon (though after a visit to the Emporium he has light blonde instead of white hair). He met Anders first and he absolutely adores his little sister Bethany so I thought, hey, he'd totally dig a mage. Friendmance anybody?
Unfortunately, Correm develops a huge dislike for the Kirkwall mages after encountering one blood mage after another, and especially after "All That Remains"... So he ends up siding with the Templars.
Now, on my first PT I knew NOTHING about the game aside from the basics about Hawke being a refugee from Lothering. So the occurrence in Act 3 was a COMPLETE shock. I was literally gaping at my tv thinking "oh my god I can't believe he just did that". And Correm executed him... his love, the only man to really get through his joking sarcastic side.
I'm replaying Correm's story just to make sure I do it the way I want to. You know. Metagaming and all that. XD The problem is... to keep it canon, he still has to side with the Templars. The only problem is, I have a dilemma now... Does he execute Anders again, or does he take Anders with and wait for the man to turn on him... I mean, executing him was sort of reflecting my shock at the whole thing, so he's obviously shocked too. Perhaps not thinking clearly....?
Thoughts?
I had a PC in a similar position and I had him tell Anders to leave. My PC assumed Anders would take the opporunity to leave. Or if they were lucky someone else would kill Anders and they wouldn't have to.
When Anders came back he made sure he was the one to land the final blow. Just so he could be as gentle to Anders as possible ending his life.
@Amondra: I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about FRIENDmance Anders. Asking him to side with the templars isn't an option.
