I still find it funny that a possessed rebel mage, a mage hating broody elf, a berserker with extreme anger issues, and a dwarf bard make such a kick ass team.

This is why it's my default team.

Actually, when it comes to mainstream music, I almost liked to imagine my revolutionary!Hawke and Anders' personal theme song would be "A Rush of Blood to the Head."

Could just be that I really like that song though. 
Just cant shake the feeling that Anders would make an awesome lead guitar for a rock band now, I can so see him singing this.

It's fun to write, though. I swear I could devote entire chapters to them being legitimately horrible to each other. The sad thing is, my canon Hawke is a 2H and doesn't really need Fenris, but she brings him along anyway (until mid-Act 2) for the sneering and facerolling alone.

It just furthers my assertion that a mage and a warrior united are unstoppable.  Everyone else is just along for the ride.  Got this when I took Carver everywhere with my MageHawke.

But the two of them... it does sound fun to write them.

Yes blunt Hawke and Fenris friendmance is sexy. I love how Fenris just takes blunt Hawke's rudeness all in stride. 

Lol, yeah, that's the thing. Fenris genuinely seems to appreciate the straightforwardness of it all. I hadn't done a blunt Hawke before (my other one was sarcastic) so I wasn't expecting them to mesh so well. But I did start a Fenris rivalmance on my Jubilee playthrough (didn't continue past Act 2, though, and she didn't romance anyone else) though, so I kinda wanted to romance somebody different. And, uh, not have to kill them at the end, like Jubilee did with Fenris. And her bud Anders.

If you're pro-bloodmage, can you rack up enough rivalry with Anders? I do want a bat**** bloodmage playthrough at some point.

against a horde they do well. against a boss you need a rogue for serious damage output
