I think it's pretty clear by now that the ponies are civilization.

My childhood achieves total pop culture vindication! Yessss.

Sidepoint: do we know for sure that the WC allowed what happened to Anders to happen, with Rolan and all that? In my head it happened during Witch Hunt, or at some point when she was away saving the world, and by the time she got back it was too late: they'd merged and Anders was long gone.

I think it absolutely wasn't the Warden, since I can't see the WC making him give up Pounce. Ever.

I have a secret theory that it was Stroud and when he takes Beth/Carver in the Deep Roads, he does it because he knows he was a huge jackhole to make Anders give up his kitty.

Also, I am going to buck the trend here and say I'd totally date Anders if I were a real person in Thedas. I wouldn't date someone with the equivalent mental problems here, but there being definitely and provably such a thing as Fade Spirits really colors all his problems in a different light for me.

Then again, this may be because I've never had a bad relationship, never had a bad breakup, pretty much just had affable, cordial affairs with completely stable cynics. I could use a big dramaflare to give me a story or two to tell. I could use some unrestrained passion rather than "I like you because you are smart and you don't seem evil. Why don't we date until we get bored of each other?"

If you can't stand the crazy, get out of the clinic. One side, practical, sane people!

Basically it was a couple doing it in a bunk bed with the guy's grandma on the bottom bed. The girl says that when she wanted to go faster she'd say "lettuce" and for slower "tomato". So after a lot of "Lettuce! Tomato!", the granmda says "Kids, stop making salad! You're throwing mayonnaise at me!"... 

I believe that kind of joke is totally appropriate for a thread about a maniac jar-ji*zzing abomination.
