I just finished my first playthrough with my!Hawke.

I spared Anders's life. I didn't think I was going to, but I did. I sent him away, but after a few difficult sans-healer battles getting to the Gallows, I decided to let him rejoin the group when he showed up at the Circle. Although I didn't really want to look at him.

I did break up with him then, though.

And yet, he stayed with me in the epilogue. I wonder what would be going through his mind, slogging around after a woman who said, in pretty explicit terms, that she wasn't going to be #2 in his life, wouldn't forgive him, and didn't love him anymore.

He says he couldn't be with you if you weren't going to support his Mage Freedom Weather Underground Revolution thing. I wonder...

Hee. I hope Ashy's commission has somehow started a trend. As it is, if I had time I still kind of want to draw Anders doing a leap of faith from the top of the Chantry. Or a comic for full effect.

And yet, like with Anders, I always come back...
I am finally back to DA2 after running through DA:O/DA:A (oh Zevran!) and a stint with DDO.
And what do I do few hours in? Quit my Isabela love affair for my exasperating goody-goody Hawkette and start a DW rogue.

Who will sleep with Fenris (and Isabela if it works out) and then run into Anders' arms!!!
I said I could never do it, but here I am... I'm doing it.
The character should logically be bedding Fenris only, as a follow-up to my Zevran-lover Warden, but I went through the first discussion with Anders not flirting... and that's when my self control went to zero.

So I'm back... I cannot wait to have Anders comfort me!

I know they fixed the part where Anders will join with templars if he's at full rivalry and give appropriate speeches. (to my eternal chagrin)
But have they fixed the speech for rivalry and rivalmance if you side with the mages? I know that it used to give the same speeches as with friendship/friendmance.... did patch 1.03 fix that?

As far as I know, no. He still gives the same dialogue if you side with the mages whether you rival or not.

This is how much of an Amelia Badelia literal-minded person I am, that I thought "why would Anders wear a disguise in his own clinic? Obviously they know he's there, or the clinic wouldn't be open!" I know, I am a party pooper. I am also drinking Fireflies, and purusing That Guy With the Glasses, so anything could happen right now.

Including re-reading CCG's Wall Of Text from a few pages back where she said:
