OK, I lied. Took less time to get it together than I thought.

Watch Iain flirt inappropriately

This this this. XD

Anders: Does the sweet manluvs bother you?
Hawke: Er, that hadn't occurred to me, actually.
Anders: Well, then, take all the time you like... TO PICTURE ME NAKED!! But, damn Templars. I WILL DESTROY THEM ALL!
Hawke: So much for flirting. Maybe I'll go make Fenris practice his flattery.

EDIT FOR TOP:
I keep looking up "Anders kittens" on Google for pictures but keep getting sent back to much-earlier pages in this very thread and getting distracted reading the Anders/Justice/Mister Darcy spoofs.

So finally here is kitten.

Sometimes I wonder if the romance would have felt substantially different if they'd had Greg Ellis instead, or simply a slightly drier and more sarcastic delivery. I can see that "No, don't go there, that's not going to end well." line said almost lazily, sarcastically, with a slightly condescending smirk. More in the tone of "don't threaten me, little girl." And that makes me shiver... I'd like to see a romance like that, where the warnings are more in the vein of "I'm at least together enough to know that this is a massively bad idea, so if you insist on being suicidally dumb I'm going to be the smart one."Rather than angstselfpityangst. I mean that would be the undercurrent, but the overcurrent would be the sarcasm.

This. So much this.

I loved Howden interpretation but...how I miss the snarky delivery of Ellis. Sure, Anders maybe overall is less snarky, but I have the feeling some lines with Ellis could get a different tone. I imagine some of the old witty/sultry/purring Anders on some lines, and I really would have liked to hear Ellis.
You can't get the best of both worlds I suppose :x

I know I'm not the only one with a female Hawke that would have been intrigued at the pansexuality discussion.

Anders: I did Karl.
Marian: ...And?
Anders: I've done dudes. Lots of dudes.
Marian: Go on.
Anders: And chicks, too.
Marian: Whew. Hot today, isn't it? Ferelden doesn't get this steamy.
Anders: You've never been to the Circle, obviously.
Marian: Duh.

Frustration on top of frustration!

Anders: Oh, I won't even tell you about the tricks you learn in the Circle.
Hawke: Tricks?
Anders: Sure! I had an entire spellbook dedicated to creative spell combinations.
Hawke: Like...sex spells?
Anders: You know, like spellbloom, grease and a haste spell are good for when you want to...

*twenty minutes later*

Anders: ...although I prefer the ones with metal clasps, for conductivity.
Hawke: **** me.
Anders: Have I spent the last three years laying awake at night, aching for you?
Hawke: Hnng
Anders: Sorry.
Hawke: *stalks off, mumbling something about Jethann*

Lol!   So THIS is why Hawke always kept a bottle of lyrium by the bedside!  :P

Who needs toys and K-Y when your lover can make you warm, tingle, and shiver all over right at the tip of his fingertips...  And has perfect mastery of rejuvenation spells....  ;)

And now we know why they keep mages locked up together...  No one else would ever get any otherwise!

Anders: Suddenly, I saw Wynne going up to Irving's office with an entire tub of BUTTER!
Warden: I'M NOT LISTENING, LALALALALA.
Oghren: Huh. *smirk* Always knew that she was a kinky wench.
Sigrun: You get quite the education in the Grey Wardens, don't you?
Justice: Did she intend to cook for him?
Anders: Sort of.
Warden: Oh, Maker. PLEASE STOP.

It can be Hawke and Anders' post Jenga pro-mage propaganda!

"Support mages! They're reeeeeeeally good in bed! Seriously. No. Seriously."

Of course, him being a Grey Warden can't hurt, either. Sexwise.

Oh!  And I forgot!  STDs + healer = not an issue!  :D

LOL!  So this is why they kept sending Templar women after him!  Them girls REALLY wanted him back in the Circle, and were willing get their hands on him by any means necessary!  :P

No!  I'm not dismissing the fact that Anders enjoys men's company too!  I'm just going with the assumption that women are notoriously trickier to fully satisfy...  ;)

Good thing there is act 2.

NO  they are the BEST! my favorite parts of the entire game are when hawke is the most inappropriate person on the planet

"i just killed my lover and my anger at injustices has corrupted my friend"
"HE'S A HOTTIE WITH A BODY AMIRITE"

"the tattoos were excruciating, i was in so much agony i lost all memory of my previous life"
"YOU GOT A NICE ASS"

I wish I could draw. I have the mental image of an advertisement poster of Anders lounging seductively in his small clothes, with the caption: "Be a mage SUPPORTER! Buy Circle Briefs! Circle Briefs: Protects your Staff under All Battle Conditions!"

@CulturalGeekGirl That's pretty much how I see it. Especially because right before sexy times he gives you another chance to run "If not, I'll know you took my warning at last," which is DEFINITELY him saying godammit run. As someone who has done it (for science!) I'm still not sure how to explain the rivalmance other than a temporary lapse in sanity for both Hawke and Anders, though

And since this is close enough to top, here have a Creeper!Anders with a bonus Ezio!Hawke

This is another variant on the same theme...  ;)

i agree. but at least howden is more interesting to stalk, and hopefully we will get cullen in da3 from popular demand (everyone go bug the writers!!  :P)

i liked the "good place for a rally. good choice varnell" line. we needed more of that tone.

I love that line, even without the delivery! Like even Hawke's friends are sick of Petrice's bull****, and Varnell is just Petrice's ugly templar lap dog.

Greg Ellis works magic (hah!) with snark. Sigh. I wouldn't miss Awakenings!Anders so much if Cullen just had a bloody sense of humor. He is SO SRS all the time. Mages this and demons that and come on man, say something funny! Crack a joke and smile a little! You can't let that voice go to waste, that's what makes puppies cry.

I submit two songs to be considered for all Anders playlists... Though I was horrible and deleted the list of songs I found on here a while back, without putting them together for myself. :(

I'm gonna go out on a limb and hope these haven't been heard before.

For rivalmance!Anders: "Scream", by Son of Rust

For friendmance!Anders: "In This Together" by Apoptygma Berzerk

Lyrics aren't on the vid info for that one, but here are the good bits:

And in your troubled eyes I see
someone who carried me somehow
Like footprints in the sand
You’ve been behind me all along
We got it wrong from the start
Now it’s you and me, let’s hit it on
Don’t you see?

Its you and me against the world
We’re in this together
You and me, one on one forever
Don’t you see?
We’re in this together
You and me, one on one forever

I heard "Scream" on my iPod on the way to Wally-World and thought, "Heeeyyy~!" They are kind of a perfect contrast to me.

Edit: BBCODE LINKS FAIL.

 Absolutely welcome. :wizard:

Can't keep inspiration all to myself.

The lines I like best in "Scream" are:

Scream / at the world around you
Fight / for the ones you love
Hate / what they're doing to you
Pray you'll have power to / scream

Wait, it could be a series...along with mage!Hawke and First Enchanter Orsino.

Oh, I'm just getting started. I've had a rotten day and stress tends to put me in a very naughty mood. Call it a defense mechanism or something. :wizard:
